The Official PR Bored Dictionary(Lexicon)

From 2005 version. Many are a bit outdated now but this now should serve as style-guide, and there are some original definitions for the likes of Boredies, Flounce, Sarchasm, Troll etc:

Ashes n. Nominally analogous with English sporting hopes. See also, Cricket.
Australian n..First among sportsmen,.pre-eminent author of sporting opinion. 2. Adj. Righteous authority, God-like.
Balshaw n. Hoax. See also English Fullback.
Bandwagon 1. n. Convoy of Fair-Weather Fans: Chariot. 2. v. Exult from behind prevailing mob view ~ triumph without knowledge. Aus. Any English poster registered on the Bored after June 2003
Basketball adj ~ (archaic). Describing the level of SH rugby immediately below international level: see also The Super 12. (Aus). n. Five-a- side sport with round ball played by black Americans without offside, tackle and knock-on laws, a game without Tries. See. Irony.
Bog Trotter n. Irishman.
Bored n. Planet-Rugby messageboard.
Boredies n. Annual celebration of the upper and lower limits of Bored mediocrity.
Brumbies n. A reverse tribute to the recruitment and selection policy of the Waratahs. 2. Wallabies.
Bruvli n. Wood fetishist. See also Lady Penelope
Catteight Superior English fullback
Chariot n. Archaic transport. Wheeled Tampon. 2. Plural. Fuckwit.
Choke v. Lose unexpectedly under pressure. Choker n. All Black.
Cricket v. Because Australia is now its spiritual home.

Excuse n. The reason they lost .Not to be confused with Reason.
English Fullback n. Impostor dressed as mythical creature, as in Santa Claus or Aussie Front Row. See also: Balshaw, Poulsen.
Flounce v. 1. Depart the bored suddenly, in frustration or defeat or both accompanied by 2. n. A stated resolve never to return. 3. (fig.) Twain-like exaggeration.
Flat-tyre n. Upon which the Bandwagon becomes considerably lighter of load. See also, Chariot
Forward Pass n. Don't ask, for fudge's sake. 2. Throw-forward law occasionally policed by NH referees
Friendly n. Meaningless non-RWC international, esp.involving England in The Southern Hemisphere.
Gold 1. adj.. Yellow. 2. (NZ) Unknown colour of Olympic medal
Grewcock. n. Excuse, reason.
Hijake v. To appropriate another's cause in pursuit of top billing.
Irony n. Raiiiyyaaaain on your wedding day, and where you've already paid, a free ride.
Jilt v. Abandon in fear or panic, loss of face. Jilt~er. Clive Woodward.
Lions Tour n. Northern Hemisphere selection plus representatives from Ireland, Scotland and Wales, sacrificed on a four-yearly basis. Occasionally successful when heavily Celtic flavoured. 2. The OK Corral of Bored shitfights.
Klarse n. Quality: Bored profundity. Poignant yet pointedly humourous observation, esp at someone else's expense.
LHP n. Loose head prop, see also, Lucy, Lcuy, Loo-shed.
Lady-Penelope n Superior aired marionette, magnet to wood fetishists. See also: Bruv.

Northern Hemisphere Rugby n. English rugby.

Post-Padder n. One who labours under the misapprehension that post-counts are impressive. Waste of space; irritant..
Poulsen, Quentin, aka The Nutbar, OBIS, The Spanish Patient, QP, Quenty. Failed and lonely paranoid; former small-town NZ Journalist, subject of AVO from former employer and of interest to the NZ police for harassment and slander of former female colleague. Exiled in Spain living bizarre internet fantasy life, convinced everyone is said former female colleague.
Quentinesque. adj. (derog.) Bizarre.
Reason n. Legitimate factor contributing to our loss.
Reds n. Queensland rugby team, increasingly harmless but poisonous when ingested by Waratahs.
SANZAR acron. (1996~ ) South Africa, New Zealand and Australian rugby. Normally the top three nations and drivers of any rugby innovation. Holders of four of the five Rugby World Cups
Sarchasm n. Deep Bored fissure created by failure to detect irony.
Six-Nations n. Annual tournament for teams rated between fourth and ninth/tenth.
Southern Hemisphere. 1. n. SANZAR. 2. Geog. That part of the world producing attractive rugby.
Surrender-Monkey esp. Cheese-eating. n. Frenchman. Shagger-Setter
Tampon n. Injury prone player, In for only one week per month. Larkham..
Troll 1. v. Aggravate for fun. 2, n. Persistent promotor of fallacious or intellectually fraudulent views esp. for own amusement. Stephen Jones

2 girls, 1 cup - Internet sensation that made its way onto a thread started by Deadtigers. The mods deleted in less than a few hours, it was more a video link that was more disgusting than tubgirl. Some images once seen the mind cannot erase.

2/10 WNB - 2 out of 10, Would not Bang. In response to a charge of sexism, this became popular. Then took on the form from the website of the same name as an ironic way to say I would band. Take a hot chick complain about hair or posture and then say 2/10 WNB.

Abyssinia - Who f**king cares, only a soft southern plum would spout such pretentious shit.

Any fat tourist with the right equipment - An expression used to dismiss extreme physical deeds or heroic acts (such as scaling Everest).

Arse - 1. The correct way to write "ass" when implying someone is stupid 2.Another way of saying ass(you are a true arse).

Arsed - can't be bothered to try and look (I can't be arsed to look it up)

Asian Cabal n. - Oriental based set of expats known for their love of all things female, shemale and anything in between.

Bored - 1. The PR chat Forum; 2.Widely used corruption of the term Board which itself derives from 'Bulletin Board'. Possibly started off as a mis-spelling from some undereducated Aussie but which has since stuck owing to the reference to boredom with respect to the likelihood of a poster being in that frame of mind when he logs onto PR to post and which obviously struck some juvenile PR plum as amusing.

Boredies - The annual awards voted on by members of the forum reflecting the year's best and worst moments in categories and best and worst poster from select countries.
Poster- A member of the forum

BRO-mance: kiwi blind love for all kiwi rugby players, to the extent that rugby players from others countries are not considered to be as good, even if they are.

Broken (Noun): The word broken will appear before a noun as response to a negative story about a country, place or thing. e.g: Broken America, Broken Justice System.

Bump - Just moving a thread up, desiring more responses from posters as it had probably got buried several pages (or more) back. Also a way of updating an old thread someone might have saved. The 'bump' is merely adding the required text to move said thread forward, 'bumping it up' as it were

Choke - noun, the act or acts of losing when heavy favourites. e.g. any rugby world cup exit by the All Blacks

Coat Please! (or ammendments thereof; declaration) - uttered when a poster inserts a joke in poor taste at the expense of the topic and/or a poster and immediately leaves the topic (though is sure to lurk about to see the responses). Not the same as a sledge. Much, much more immature, and rarely funny.

Coog (noun) name for any new random poster who hucks out meaningless strings of sentences in the hope of starting a controversial conversation and is banned/deleted within 24 hours of said post appearing.

cnut - rather than the word it is supposed to be (plum) its hurling abuse, with respect. sorry if it has already been mentioned.

Dose of the kermits - descriptive of someone whose cork has fallen out of their lunch specifically rambling drunken postings and picking fights over perceived slights

Escape Goat - Corruption of scapegoat.

FAIL - an attempt at a post which fails, usually spectacularly

FACT! = An argument just made up by the poster.

FHHD - Abbreviation for fudge Him He's Dead
-fudge him, he's dead: Created by poster Yeeb (AKA Backrow). He used this as his response when a member of the public, i.e. celebrity or politican died. His argument was RIP means nothing because we never if they RIP and there is nothing anyone can do but move on so fudge him, he's dead, he can't hear you.

Flounce (v)- 1. To move or go with empathtic movements. 2. Normally used in conjunction with an immature poster who will publicise to the bored that he or Exiled Nzer is leaving the bored amoungst much wails and moans declaring that they will never be back. Ever. Only to return at a later stage with their tails between their legs, feeling rather stupid.

fudge off, newbie! (colloq.) Standard greeting toward new posters.

Gavin Henson - The answer to any poll question. Gavin Henson is a player is viewed either as a superhero or overhyped player, however his popularity makes him that answer to any poll question about anything as he is always a relevant option.

Gash - synonym for Tom Voyce and or Steve Borthwick

He could have doid! = mock sympathy for injured party

Hey Theo - Name given (in honour of a legendary thread) to someone who shows overt confidence, spiced with tones of arrogance, in ones opinion of a team's chance of winning a forthcoming match (Usually resulting in a good chance to witness the interventionist nature of the game)

I AM DeWet Barry - as posted by a poster who is on the piss (drunk). Credit to Bulldog.

Inciteful - A post of no particular merit that is made only to create a shitfight

Internet Hardman Alert - When a poster starts making threats to physically beat up another poster (as this is on the internet and we are all over the world it is a vale threat, at best)

In your opinion - A sarcastic response by a poster to an opinion that they totally disagree with. Note - the words must be bolded.
Jalopy - Corruption of jealousy.

Kiwi ;as in to Kiwi or being Kiwi - When used properly it means to be overly precious over an insignificant matter.

Looks weak: The appropriate response to any posting of a team's matchday roster.

NWS - Abbreviation for Not Work Safe
-Usually indicates that the thread or post contains material not meant to be scene in public such as porn or a disgusting pic (i.e. tubgirl)

mungo - a derogatory term applied to certain rugby league supporters and players The stereotypical image of a mungo is a poorly educated aggressive male of working class background.
--Can also be used as a suffix to show that a poster on this forum enjoys rugby league too much.
eg. singleporter = singlemungo, MacGyver = MacMungo
Post - A message that is added to a thread

mungoball - Rugby League

On the craic -Traditional Irish saying for out on the town/drink/having fun. Used whenever an Irish player or poster is in trouble off the field.

On the craig - Used whenever an Non-Irish player or poster is in trouble off the field. Craic become Craig thanks to a mistake or wisecrack by the poster houtkabouter.

Overated - Common criticism of a player, commonly used by someone who cannot quantify why they do not rate the player in question and therefore just settle for 'Overated' as their one and only criticism

Precious - Collective noun for the inhabitants of New Zealand - a precious of kiwi's

Racist - any poster who offers an opinion on a matter of race or religion that does coincide with your own

Rule 1 - Any discussion of any female must be followed with a pic of the said female.
--ex: One bored member member states that their sisters friend is hot. A fellow poster is then free to request Rule 1 in order to validate the hotness of the said female.

Rule #2 - in which said poster never complies with rule #1 (not recommended by author)

Sarchasm - sarcasm that is so thick it could a void. For instance, if I said "this is a really great effort at a dictionary" and you said "thanks!", you'd have fallen into the sarchasm.

The clique n. - set of London based posters who frequently organise group reacharound sessions and exclude others on the bored.

Thread - A topic on the Forum

Threadjack - Basicially, changing the topic of a thread as it goes along and making the discussion about the new topic brought up. I.e., Dulux's best man speech which turned into a debate about standing versus sitting to wipe one's ass after a dump.

TOUT - When someone appears on the board offering tickets for a game. Standard response even when tickets are being sold at cost price.

Trianculla n. - a big hairy spider. As coined by one of the Irish or Aussies.

Tubgirl - Most disgusting pic ever cannot be described but thos that have seen it recommend no one else see it.

Wendyball - Another way to reference football or soccer. Chavball is also accepted.

whooosh - the sound of a concept or joke that flies over the head of a thick poster.

White Nonu - French rugby player Mathieu Basternaud; the poster Ali's Choice having heard that France were bringing down 'their own Nonu' for that particular tour slightly racist-ly assumed that he was white and dubbed Bastaraud as 'white Nonu' before he ever saw him.

To douche-chill something - is to love a person so much that you are unable to bear any criticism.
To pull a Sard - to Sard a thread would be to mindlessly troll and claim victory after the first insult.
