Fury is a giant and a tough one at that. Anyone that can put him down twice must have some power. The lack of coverage in the national media for this has been outrageous. First Briton and only the fifth fighter in history to unify all four belts. A really top fighter and top guy doing something like that gets barely a mention compared to a scumbag like Billy Joe Saunders getting his clock cleaned.
Nothing lucky about it though. The fight was over by the end of the 9th and he cruised home. The scorecards were far closer than they should have been but he did more than enough to ensure they couldn't rob him.

No luck involved. He went out to knock him down and did, twice. He dominated enough to take the homer judges and ref out of the equation. Ability not luck.
