Epic fight. Wilder came to fight, was tough as hell but Fury too good.

What a good fight to watch. Wilder really showed me a lot in this fight. He showed a lot of heart. But Fury takes the victory.

Possibly the best heavyweight fight I’ve seen in the last 20 years. Absolutely brilliant right to finish it as well.

That was basically about how much punishment Wilder could take from a man without a knockout punch.

A lot

It doesn’t get better than that, outstanding!

Fury is up there with the best I have seen, Wilder…tough cnut.

Amazing fight.

The end looked close for both at times but Fury looked the better across the distance.

Great spectacle but Wilder getting battered in most of the rounds means there must be a low bar for great heavyweight fights

Despite the two knockdowns, Fury has remarkable powers of recovery.

AJ would still be asleep.

I think he has damaged his right hand in round 6 or 7, lost power and Fury steamrolled him.

I have Wilder only winning 3 of the 11 rounds, thats how dominant Fury was. Usyk couldn't live with Fury in that form.

I'm not a fan of Fury's god bothering, but he's always gracious and gives his opponent credit. Would love to hear what Wilder has to say...eventually...cos he should be going to the hospital ASAP.

It’s a blur. Clearly then and only wobbled a couple of other times. It’s more a general comment that the fight looked a pinch away from being over a few times before the end. A couple for Wilder and the one clear cut time for Fury.

Thanks for the link earlier by the way - very good

Rounds 1 and 4 for Wilder. Apart from that he was not much cop but obviously has a lion heart. I was a bit disappointed with Fury as I thought he could have taken him out rounds before he did. Great entertainment though, and it takes two to do that.

Thats a fight to damage his brain, the punishment he took. Phenomenal Fury performance.

The thing is though Wilder was visibly stunned/hurt by Fury in most of the 11 rounds, and sometimes several times in a single round. Fury took plenty of Wilder's right handers without looking too bothered.

I think quite a few boxers have been religious, perhaps due to the nature of the sport.

Both HW champs are openly Christian

Yep, that was getting quite dangerous towards the end, I thought Wilder was twitching when he was on the canvas in the 11th.

If Fury hadn't got complacent and decided to go for the win early after getting the knock down he wouldn't have had that round where Wilder knocked him down twice. The fight would have looked more one sided then.

Great fight though, whatever about his boxing skill you've got to say Wilder is entertaining.

Great fight. Better than 90% of HW bouts. Wilder took a lot of punishment. Bleeding from the left ear didn't look good. Best I've seen Fury fight. I think he'd wipe out anyone else right now. AJ would get a hiding. Usyk might be too small.

I got to put Klitchko v Joshua ahead of this one, but only just. Just like the Wilder v Fury fight, both boxers got up off the deck.

After Fury went down the 2nd time, in the 5th?, I thought it might be Wilder's day.

Fury will plough through Usyk, Ruiz and Joshua. Although of those 3 opponents, AJ is the worst boxer, he is probable the least simple matchup. Usyk and Ruiz just too small.

Looked like he could have hurt both hands, I couldn't quite work it out. I guess that will be Wilders excuse.

I think I know when you're talking about but it's easy to forget how tiring it is for the guy who is winning when he looks on top. I think those times when it looked like Fury was on the cusp of ending it, he was just too exhausted to follow through. The way he dominated most of the fight was astounding as it wasn't against a nobody fighter. Usually when one fighter appears to dominate like that it is because he's in complete control and they aren't operating at 100% because they don't have to. Fury was dominating by giving 100% and just had nothing left when Wilder was on the ropes.

Fair play to both, I just hope wilder is ok.

They're talking about a slow count on the second Fury knockdown (did seem a little long to me also).

Couldn't comment during the fight as I was making tea, but it was enjoyable enough. Sloppy at times, but fun, and finished with a brutal knockout.

P.S. Wilder went up in my estimation even in losing. Granted, he's still a low skilled one-punch artist, but he took some serious punishment and kept coming.
