Not bad, and it’s more episodic than serial which is a nice change.

Naturally, like in every cop show in the last 15 years he has a dark and brooding presence owing to some past trauma in his life. That’s getting played out.

Really good show. There's 6 seasons to watch.

Same as the other seasons then. Each ep is basically 24 hours to get out of a terrible situation or your family gets dismembered/life in Supermax. There seems to be a lot of one note, relentlessly grim stuff around at the moment. What’s wrong with a bit of light and shade ffs...
Brooklyn 99?

Which is finally back on form. Been watching out of habit for the last couple of seasons and the dearth of other non-serious shows that are even semi-decent, but the one that just dropped on Netflix is actually pretty good.

The bolded seems very true.

Keeping an eye on this post... big Gomorrah fan here.

Anyone watched/ watching Money Heist/ La Casa de Papel? A Spanish action series on Netflix. Had never heard of it, but they've just launched season 4 or 5, and 'everyone' in the US is talking about it. Watched the trailer and it seemed pretty decent if Die Hard/ The Raid is your kind of thing
First three seasons are brilliant. Felt it lost steam in the fourth.

The Ciro film was released before Christmas in Italy. Need to find a version with subtitles.
Somone's posted a subtitled rip of it to the subreddit. My friend used to be into that illicit download stuff but shys away from it these days so hasn't watched it... besides, he presumes that the subtitles are done by some regular bloke on the internet, not professionally, so might not convey the story very well.

If any friend of yours downloads and watches it, let me know how it is so I can pass on the info to my friend

Finished Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness

My days, that was CRAZY! If I ever meat a person who admires big cats I'm running away. Those people are across the board crazy. And that's only the start. And by start whenever someone is introduced who looks normal, well they sure as f#ck are not. There simply isn't anything like it.

It's probably not the most ethically produced documentary.
Give the PBS interview I posted on the last page a read.

It's a strange one when a man who lost his lefts in a parachuting/skydiving accident comes across as the "normal" one

Watched the first 3 episodes of The Least Expected Day, Inside The Movistar Team 2019 on Netflix.
Its in Spanish but has subtitles.
Quality show. Fly on the wall documentary on the team through the giro, tour and vuelta.
First 3 episodes were on the giro before moving onto the tour.
Would highly recommend it if you are into cycling.

Same here, watched it last night....damn....
There was a real ‘Of Mice and Men’ feel to some of the episode 9 scenes, particularly the conversation about where the brother wanted to be in five years. I was waiting for him to say he wanted to own some rabbits.

Sounds like lots of people were talking about this so thought I'd give it a look ...

Riveting stuff! Caused bloody murder against Shermans, but suffered mayhem from air attacks. Madness that it cost so much when they might have gone with something simpler to match numbers with Allied tanks.

This final season of homeland is absolute garbage. If it hadn’t already jumped the shark, it did so spectacularly this season. The highlight was Carrie being the only person to thought to tell tech genius Max that it would be important to retrieve the black box flight recorder from the president’s helicopter. Now why didn’t anyone else think of that  stick a fork in it

I'm still kind of enjoying it, but the 'final dilemma' she is facing is kind of moronic
Spoiler: show
why doesn't she she just tell Saul he has to give up the mole or risk war - after all, it's pretty much his job to make these decisions, while she's a private citizen these days... or the Russians could have just asked him

Better Call Saul is brilliant, and this season has been episode after episode of riveting TV. Most of the acting, writing and shooting is top drawer stuff.

What a character Lalo is.

Has been rivalling Breaking Bad for me.

I watched it for a while but it was too “gimmicky” or something compared to BB. I get he was meant to be more light hearted but still. Would be hard pushed to say anything tops BB, imo.

Last two seasons have been some of the best TV out there, well worth a watch and have really developed things. For me, in terms of storytelling, character development, it would be up with BB and in some parts surpasses it. Which is not easy as BB is one of my favourite shows.

Also watching an Israeli show called Shtisel. Got into it after Unorthodox (which was also great). Actually very interesting and bingeable.

there's a way to "add new channel" ; have to key in frequency numbers and sh1te like that ; did it once for a rugby match ; google it and if you're still bothered it'll eat up an hour of coronavirus down time
