I know, quite a bullshit call on ACT but there’s enough substance to make my point. NZ First is more willing to interrvene In the market than the major parties and that’s a left wing thing to do.

I also find it rich how labour is right wing and national is even more right. Who is their basis for centre? I think they have this perspective that most western nations apply right wing thinking but I’m not sure everyone agrees with that.

I just did their test again and ended up basically dead centre economically. As a product of a neoliberal upbringing why would my values be in such contrast to their model for neoliberal parties? The test is shit.

Could end up in the situation where all the minor parties rely on getting and electorate seat as they all dip under 5%.

ACT get Epsom, NZF hope for Northland, and Kay leaving Auckland central gives Swarbrick a chance for the greens.

If ACT is the only one who gets in, does that mean labour are in by themselves as long as they beat National by more than what ACT get e.g. labour get 43% national 38% act 3%, labour get in, but if labour get 42, nats 40 and act 2.5, National would end up in?

Greens never feature in opinion polls but they get a lot of specials from overseas based voters. I think they ended up about 2.5% above their latest poll in 2017 (memory may be buggered but I know the specials costs the nats a seat)

Interestingly I think the last Colmar one had greens up about 2-3 compared with what they achieved and the reverse for nzf. Reid I think had it the other way around

Edit: found this - News Hub had nzf almost bang on and both over estimated national and the greens just prior to last election.

Correct, the Greens will be very nervous if their past trend of worse Election Day results than polling suggested continues. Their survival could come down to winning a seat. A quick Google shows:

We should have a rugby game between posters on PR. Dark and Muttonbird get to get captain each side and play 'pick up' to select their players. Half the players won't listen to the captains on the field, as they have those two on ignore anyway.
