Edmunds seemed the obvious pick for the Raiders.

Ah well.

OH.

Raiders acquire WR Martavis Bryant from the Steelers for pick No. 75.

I'm feeling a bit better now. Worth a punt.

This draft = Gruden's hands all over it.

We're in the dull section of the 1st round where decent teams make safe picks for offensive linemen.

Well here we go with the Patriots. I thought they had their eye on Miller but he's gone. So will it be Lamar Jackson or James Daniels or someone completely left field?

I had LJ as #2 QB. Talked to NFL agent about it.

How about Ravens taking Jackson instead? Would be wild.

No Jackson, it's Hayden Hurst. Another target for Flacco to throw wide of.

Calvin Ridley to Falcons. It's a Bama alumni party out wide there.

Damn, I wasn't expecting that.

But Ridley could be a great fit for the offense. It stank last year despite what the stats said. Huge upgrade.

The Monty Python fan in me chuckled to see Josh Rosen being interviewed on NFL.com with a Cardinals cap that says "Red Sea" in huger letters across the front.

Here we go with Jackson to Pats.

Nope: Sony Michel? Bit of a reach, surely?

Michel is an In interesting pick. He can catch it out of the backfield. But I would have gone LJ fo sho.

3 picks for the Colts in Round 2. They have a chance to really load up this draft and Nelson was a good start. Andrew Luck just needs to get his shoulder fixed.

Michel was pegged for that range. I prefer Guice but they need a good RB.

He's not on Watson's level imo. His passing can be downright abysmal at times.

But he is an incredible runner. Create a custom offense for him and go. But don't expect him to ever wow you with accuracy as it's just not there.

It's a great landing spot for Jackson I reckon.

So if we assume Patriots have to draft a QB sometime. Who are they taking with #43 or #63? Mason Rudolph?

Pats don't have to draft a QB. BB will figure it out every time. He is the overlord of all.

Maybe they could convert him to safety then, because he's no starting QB.

Dolphins pick 1 before NE at #42. They might steal Mason Rudolph out from under the dark lord's nose (which of course Belicheck will anticipate if that's his plan and trade up accordingly). Round 2 is going to be as wild as round 1 was. Browns and Colts could make some hay trading one of their early picks away.

100% I'm not joking, after 30 odd years I'm finally done. I'm a very loyal fan but I have my limits. Steelers now.

Damn.

Broken Bones.

They did break me as a Browns fan bro. I saw this coming when the dumbshit Haslam bought the team. But I have some good Yinzer peoples so into their swarm I go.

31 other teams to choose from... and you choose the Steelers... that's just f**king sick... Patriots would have been a more honourable choice... Patriots with a side of Cowboys even...

You disgust me.

The homoeroticism of the professional draft analysts is hilarious. Someone better shower down Mike Mayock on NFL.com. Here are a few of the choice comments from his day 1 analysis of the picks, EL James couldn't have done better:

Quote:
His lower body is unbelievable.Talk about a powerful man. Violent hands...can make tape room sessions uncomfortable. He is a flat-backed pile driver. Heavy hands. When he gets his hands locked on you and anchored down, it's over...he's curious...he can match slots and tight ends. I love his motor and body type. You expect bigger safeties to have hip tightness. He can open his hips and drive to a deep half or deep third, cover tight ends man to man, and when he gets there, he's arrives in a bad humor. Played him a lot in the box, I think the key here is he can match tight ends. Special get-off. I watched four tapes; three of them were outstanding, one of them was not.

Adopting the Ravens would be the honourable approach. When you have the option of selecting a team to support, you should never select a team that is supported by your friends or family - otherwise how can you revel in their losses? Where possible, you should pick that team's arch-rival. Unless that team's arch-rival is the Steelers, in which case you should pick any other team available. Or none at all. Just don't pick the Steelers.

Slight "concern" over the fact that he was suspended the entire 2016 season after failing SIX drugs tests

He's spent more time on the ceiling than Spider-Pig
