The Browns aside, I don't think there were many shocking picks this draft.

Everyone seemed to play it relatively safe. There is not one player there I see that could be labelled a bolter and a real shock first round pick. All a bit vanilla.

Edit: Actually, Rashaad Penny going to the Seahawks. That was a surprise.

Giants have to take Hernandez at 34 if he is available.

Bowens, so sorry bro! It just seems like a shock. They Should have taken Barkley and Chubb or Barkley and then a QB but Mayfield doesn't scream #1 and then a shutdown Corner? They don't have the years in the league a top level DL lineman can have.

I just wish the Niners had taken Edmunds.... I know they made a sensible decision but.... I like Line Backers and with Fosters future in some doubt (less doubt now she’s been bought off) we may have needed him.....

I've been watching America's Game. Absolutely brilliant, but the older ones are more interesting.

Also the Raiders were f**king animals.

People are reaching too far to bash them for what they've done. Calling Mayfield a massive project is ridiculous considering Josh Allen was in play for #1 and nobody seemed to have any issue with that.

They thought Mayfield would be gone by the the time they picked at 4 so they grabbed him. They also thought Ward would be gone if they traded down so they took him. There is no guarantee any of these guys shake out so it's too early to call them out for f**king this one up.

Cleveland pick twice again very early tonight. Those picks are just as important as what they did yesterday. If they grab two nice player sthen they'll have added 4 starters and improved the team dramatically.

I think Mayfield will be ok but Cleveland is not the best place for him to play.

Sure, but now Seth Roberts is on the trade block! :o

I'm not sure he's even played first grade in the NRL?

He's just way too massive!

I hope it pans out for him at the Eagles - would be cool.

Gobsmacked to get Maurice Hurst in the 5th round.

I watched it last night until it was our pick, with fingers crossed for Hurst, and then we traded down.
Went to bed.

One of the guys on Silver & Black Pride re-listed our draft picks in the rounds we could/should have taken them and it looks a lot more impressive:

1 - Hurst (DT)
2 - Key (DE)
3 - Miller (OT)
3 - Hall (DT)
4 - Nelson (CB)
5 - Parker (OT)

If, and it could be a big "if", Hurst's heart condition checks out okay, then that's a phenomenal upgrade to the DL

Of course just about every one of those has fitness/off-field issues that could back-fire, so just like old times...

Many have even suggested the Ghost of Al Davis was looking over Gruden's shoulder during the draft process and selection...

That's being very optimistic. Mayock said every one of the 10-15 teams he spoke to about Hurst said they had him completely off their board. He could easily have gone undrafted if that's true.

Arden Key is a major headache. Big red flags around that guy.

Eagles, now, after last season . . . . . if you haven't got them yet it'll be difficult. We used to go down to a Seahawks game every year, and then they won the SB. Now it's twice the price and really difficult to get tickets. But I'm sure it will ease as their slide continues.

Steelers is always a popular team (not to me), so that will also be quite tough, but should be easier than Eagles.

Remember, there's only 8 home games a year so any solid team is selling out quick.

Rapey Winston has picked himself up a ban to start the season, due to sexually assaulting an Uber driver.

Bad news: She's a porn star

Kiki, do you love me? Jimmy Garoppolo may have to steal that line from Drake because he’s very into porn star Kiara Mia and is dying to see her again!

“Jimmy’s phone is blowing up today with teammates texting and teasing him about taking Kiara out for a romantic dinner.

Plenty of guys in the league date porn stars, but they usually have them in a private setting like a hotel room with room service, not out in public at a fancy restaurant in Beverly Hills,”

Doesn't that happen with every Browns first round pick? The fans have to dispose of last year's jersey because it's embarrassing having that failure emblazoned across their back... :P

I have no doubt they are sick of buying jerseys of bust draft picks, but #30 for a top pick QB is bad. Sounds like fans are taking a wait and see approach.
