I suspect the Bucs and Ravens (really dislike them) will upset that however.
Why so?

At least this game is a tight one, Packers was a blow out.

Well that's the 2 teams from the DMV gone. Ignominious end for Jackson.

Looking forward to Brady v Brees tomorrow.

Jackson looks like he doesn't have the temperament to succeed in the playoff. He's always screaming and shouting. Not a leader.

In order who I would like to win the SB:

Bills - because of 4 SB losses
Browns - because they are perennially sh1t
Bucs - be funny if Brady won again
Chiefs - I like Mahomes
Saints - one last hoorah for Brees
Packers - don't like Aaron Rodgers (tosser by all accounts)

I think my preference would be a Bills vs Buccs Superbowl, from what is left.

Though having Tom Brady finally leave their division, only to potentially beat them in the Superbowl the very next year might possibly be too much for Bills fans to handle.

32-3 record against the Bills...

That was some intercept TD for the Bills last night
Don't think they'll beat the Chiefs assuming the Chiefs beat the Browns later but you never know.

Kelce runs better routes than most receivers -- put a Pro Bowl cornerback on his ass for that TD. The fact he's also an elite blocking TE makes him one of the best players in the league, really.

Blatant use of helmet from Sorenson for me. No mention on comms though. Being brought up on half time talk now.

His agility for a big man is insane. With him and Hill, they should walk the Bills.

I don't know the particulars of the rule, but I'd like to think there's some accounting for the fact that the ballcarrier had laid out and in doing so had placed his helmet in an extremely low position.

Flippin' dangerous, on the necks for both the flying headbutter and headbuttee.

Mahomes out of the game with about 11 minutes to go.

Browns just came back with a TD 16-22 PAT to come.

This is why you don't run with your f**king quarterback. Andy Reid really should have known better.

The softening of the game has made it a good deal less risky, but this is why nobody dared let QBs carry the ball in designed runs until a few years ago. Evidently the danger is still there.

If they win, 7 day turnaround to next week. I imagine he'll play just because Mahomes will lie about it and it's in everyone's interest including the NFL's.

I didn't see it except in replay. Turned the game on not knowing anything and saw Henne at QB for the Chiefs.

2,minute warning. Chiefs will run up the middle, get maybe 2 yards. Punt the ball and the Browns will get it back with about 1:30 left in the game.

Honestly the pylon cam suggests it might not be helmet to helmet. Contact was into the extended arm/shoulder which caused the fumble and exposed the Browns' players pads. The top view looks damning but the movement of the Browns' player's helmet could have been caused by the force of the hit.

Lots of bitching on Twitter about the rule that makes a fumble into the endzone a touchback but i don't mind it. You take a risk, it might pay off...it might not.

Agreed but to be fair the Browns would've needed a TD and their last drive was pathetic. Some really poor playcalling there IMO.

Can't fault you for this post, doubt many expected Chad Henne to go all Lamar Jackson.

Probably. Still have no idea how he got injured, there was nothing to that play, not hit in the head by defender or ground, not a big collision, it was weird. He was definitely groggy getting up though.

Edit: watching again in real time it was more forceful than it looked in replay. Could be one of those whiplash ones.

2nd field goal for the Saints. Should've got more points out of those 2 punt returns than 6.

Football Outsiders:
We usually wait until a move actually happens to stick up an XP, but we might as well have a discussion about the biggest news in the NFL outside of the playoffs. A number of reports state that Deshaun Watson wants to force his way out of Houston, upset about the front office and the process in hiring GM Nick Cesario and a new head coach. Sources have told ESPN that the Texans have had discussions about possible trade partners. Watson has a no-trade clause so he has some control over where he is traded.

Looks like Drew Brees' career is ending in 5 minutes of playing time unless they pull off quite the comeback.

He made it to the Divisional Round in his last year. It's not like he was chopped liver.

To me it looked like a really worrying sign that he has had so many concussions that even a strong jolt completely knocks him for six. He was completely clocked and had no strength in his legs for something with no direct hit. It will be a tragedy if he plays again next week. George North is what I thought right away.
