I actually did think that. He looked like a shit Beatle.Floppykid wrote:Murray's hair was stupid.
2013 was our year Paynegate fcked us over.Mulleh wrote:Strange game that, thought Munster would have won it handily at the time.
How Ulster didnt win a trophy during that period is bizarre. Went downhill pretty fast from 2013 onwards.

Nope. Try again.Floppykid wrote:You said Diack was better/more deserving of a spot than SOB.

It was something like SOB v International Standard Backrow Robbie Diack was even in a head-to-head prior to a Leinster v Ulster game. So you said International Standard Backrow Robbie Diack was as good as SOB basically.earl the beaver wrote:Nope. Try again.Floppykid wrote:You said Diack was better/more deserving of a spot than SOB.
I'm happy to admit that I didn't think SOB would be as good as he became. I thought he was a bosher with shit hands.danthefan wrote:It was something like SOB v International Standard Backrow Robbie Diack was even in a head-to-head prior to a Leinster v Ulster game. Looking at the tables, it'd be hard to argue that the top 2 in each conference shouldn't take part in the semis.Leinster in London wrote:Proposed Pro14 final, Leinster v Edinburgh

I'd rather cancel the whole season than have a one off final.Leinster in London wrote:Proposed Pro14 final, Leinster v Edinburgh

That's probably the best solution. The final should be in Dublin though, as a reward for Leinsters season, but especially because they'll get a full/almost full LR. I don't think there'll be too many people travelling, even to Cardiff, in July.Leinster in London wrote:Proposed Pro14 final, Leinster v Edinburgh

Bit hard on Munster if it was a straight final.
But they'll probably find they can't play any games anyway.

Not disputing that at all. The reason I mentioned him is because of:

If they'd scored that try I reckon they would have won the 2013 Pro14 Final
Immediately after the Jennings try though so would have changed the feel of the opening 20 minutes where Ulster had conceded so early and then battered away for 20 minutes with no reward except for a Pienaar penalty.CM11 wrote:Tbf, that was early in the first half. The year Ulster had Payne in top form, Bowe as a test lion and Trimble as Irish player of the season was the year we should have won something.Leinsterman wrote:So there was this flanker called Robbie Diack...Mulleh wrote:Strange game that, thought Munster would have won it handily at the time.

That back 3 was sensational, a young Olding, Jackson and Henderson were cutting their teeth withHenry and big Nick Williams carrying the backrow.
The Lancaster Cullen era is pretty great as well.Nolanator wrote:I spent most of yesterday watching highlights of Leinster games from the Schmidt era. Jesus, what a time to be a ST holder. Didn't know how good we had it while we were living it.

He is literally half a yard from the line at full tilt before he tries the stupid spin.
Every bit as bad, and worse given the context of the importance of the game, than Carling’s f**k up.
