Ryan is a bit of an empty jersey this season so far; a shadow of the player he was.Bogbunny wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 4:22 pmRyan doesn't seem to engage with the ref at all. Get Bealham off.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Ryan, the captain, being taken off so early says a lot.

What does Mike Catt do?
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Quite a tight match. Ireland clearly brought their World Cup form to this one.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

We are so very very very bad.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
An interesting question Grasshopper!
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Thieves a living.
Tired of blaming coaches, these are internationals that can’t pass
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Code: Select all
I can't remember the last time we threatened to score off a set piece move.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
We really, really need Leinster to move on from Ross Byrne.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
True. But there’s no semblance of anything constructive off set piece. And if there’s any day you can show it, it’s today. Can understand, to a degree, why we didn’t see it v England.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
An ordinary performance made hard to watch by very dull commentary.

They shouldn’t have been there in the first placeHellraiser wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 4:33 pm The entire coaching team needs to go. Won't happen mind.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
We are.
Yet Leinster are dominating the Pro14 with beautiful play, Ulster are on song, Munster are very solid and getting better, and Connacht have been a bit inconsistent but great at times. And that's whilst their internationals are away.
And we're playing against Georgia, who've been put away by all the Six Nations handily.

Ross Byrne probably needs that move too. Test himself somewhere as no1 every week, even abroad. He’s so used to playing in games that don’t matter or Leinster are streaking it that he doesn’t know what to do when the heat comes on.

Is Connors up to this level?

Will Connors is not an international quality rugby player.

It's like a RWC performance all over again.
Stockdale makes a tackle.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
You should read the Noddy guide to "back".Willie Falloon wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 3:53 pm Anyway, TMO needs to learn the rules of a forward pass.
If the hands go back it isn't forward. That is the clearly stated in World rugby laws.
Clearly not backward from his hands

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
We’re back in the late Deccie epoch. When everyone knew full well that stepping up to the Irish squad meant you were not stepping up to the best coaching group in the country.
That is a cancer for a squad and all in it.
That’s all I’ll say on it.
