They have little control over the pricing is the point. Ulster just have home advantage, it's not their fixture to control. It's no way to run any organisation frog marchiing someone out the door for the approval of the mob. Next time someone falls out pof favour the same would be expected. It would only serve to make the organisation weaker. And yes I'm aware there was a similar thing with MOC but he was kept on to the end of his contract. You can't do that, it sets a really bad precedent.

No strong feeelings on Tuohy either way. Unfortunate with injuries to miss his Ireland opportunities.
The point is if the rumour IS true he is gone by the end of May then why wait. I’m not saying use this game as a basis to sack him. I don’t see the point waiting if the decision has been made though
Because it sets a terrible precedent for the organisation. They'd be expected to do similar in the future. The gate is probably worht very little to them given it's controlled by the Pro14. And if people are waiting for Logan to be gone before renewing then they can wait another 2-3 weeks..

The gate is worth nothing as i understand it but the prospect of playing in the challenge cup should scare the UB and IRFU shitless and an empty stadium makes that more likely. They were more than happy to appease the whims of a mindless mob that had nothing to do with rugby a few months ago. Now those that actually invest in the province are kicking off they are shy?? fudge precedent, when the CEO has lost the fans and the players he needs to go.

Going to be a lot to overcome losing Girve, Nacewa, Nordi, Strauss and Heaslip. And potentially Carbery.

No signings coming in to bring some more experience either..if only Beirne had forced his way to Leinster.

It never occurs to these sermonising f*ckwits that 100% of the Ulster posters on here know more about Ulster Rugby than they do.

Yeah a few years back. The 3rd years now would be his last academy class he picked. IIRC

So he would have brought through some ridiculous amount of talent in that period. You would think if he had the ambition that the coaching world is his oyster (provided this Bath gig goes well).

Yeah unfortunately 2nd row is still an area of concern. Kearney and Nagle nowhere near good enough, particularly when the internationals are away. The biggest gaping hole is 12 though.

presumably Fardy wont be let near the 6 shirt next season, with Ruddock, Josh Murphy and hopefully SOB available .... allowing him to do a lot of heavy lifting in the second row

not getting Beirne back is annoying in hindsight
