There’s probably a thread on this but I see WR have decided to rename the World Cup’s as gender neutral. Not like they had other things in the game to work on first... x(

It's the self awareness I enjoy the most.

You could wash your car in the mouth foaming at the mere suggestion that Iain Henderson might not start ahead of Toner and Ryan, or that Stockdale may still have areas of his game to work on. Give em a Keith Earls joke though and they'll strut around the place for half an hour like Paul Merton on Have I Got News for You.

Dan Leavy is ahead of schedule in terms of his rehab and all going well, is hoping to be back for Leinster before the end of the season.

Still a long way to go, but really good news after such a horrific knee injury.

Listened to an interview with him last night on off the ball, said he had damage to all the ligaments in his knee with tears to ACL and PCL.

Leavy should be part of the 31 even on one leg.
He’ll be sorely missed.

That is incredible if true. Two observations:

1 The wonders of modern medicine
2 Dan Leavy is incredibly driven.

I'm with you on this. I've booked the week after the final off to go on the piss with the lads.

We'll definitely get to the SF, and after that all bets are off.

In Joe we trust.

I’ve just checked the groups, 1/4’s and semis.
We are going to beat Wales in the final.

A real bang of fear off him.
He must be hoping that NZ/SA take us out before we meet England.

Good article about Ireland not playing enough heads up rugby.

Criminal by Carty to not put his back line away with the obvious overlap.
Was he playing too much to script?

There was a good point made by O'Gara in that Off the Ball video/podcast with himself and O'Driscoll, where he made the point that a 10's vision on the pitch is really limited to what we could call the 9/10/12 channels. For a 10 to move the ball out wider he needs to know that there are opportunities, and that requires two things: -

- Centres/wingers who can and will communicate effectively with those inside them (so to speak);
- First and second-receivers who will listen to that communication.

He said it was easy for him to trust O'Driscoll, albeit it's obvious that not all centres would get that treatment.

was listening to that podcast yesterday, very good ; ROG taking the piss out of himself over the Duncan McRae incident and the finger pointing was hilarious too ; must listen to the other podcasts

Signs that Porter is getting ahead of Ryan?

Looks like Kleyn is going to travel. Getting beaten up by England and Wales in the 6N has done his chances a world of good. Joe called out his momentum stopping tackles agsinst Italy. Wonder will Beirne travel too?

The comments section about Beirne to 7 would be an interesting development.

Second game in a row that Beirne has been backrow cover. Wouldn't surprise me to see him go now as I don't see the point of wasting that gametime on him if he wasn't a live option.

Re. the chances against Italy. In those situations you want to run through your patterns that will be required to beat better sides and not just take the easy score.
