Agree.

Would prefer to see Toner start and Hendy come off the bench to wreak havok against tiring legs a la Kilcoyne.

You sound like you think that's good enough.

Will that win at Twickenham?

Would it win against an SH team?

I don't think so.

If we front up and rush the English midfield (which looked panicky as fúck last week) like we did Wales and the pack fronts up then it could do a job in Twickenham.

Delighted with that result. Pissed off that we let them in right at the death until i subsequently remembered i had Ireland to win by 5-10. So good result and cash money :smug:

We need a bigger 6 against England.

Unseen work bedamned. Stander is our best option at 6.

Toner and Kilcoyne should be no brainers too. It looks like a much better forward platform when they're in.

Got ripped far too easily, and both carries too high, and stands up in the maul.

As I said I think he would wreak havok on tired limbs and would be a better use of our resources coming on with 25/30 minutes to go.

I'm still concerned about our attacking shape, while I like seeing backs other than Sexton coming in at first receiver a lot of it is one out runners, it works sometimes (Larmour's try) but at international rugby it's few and far between. A little bit of subtly and interplay would be nice outside of first phase set plays.

But...

..in a good team performance would Deegan and Cooney have been as good or better from the start?

Andy Farrell showing loyalty to players he knows suits his short term agenda but it's no good to me as an Irish rugby fan for life.
Imagine a coach using players to win.

And Murray played a totally different game to the way Cooney plays so that's not even up for debate.

Happy with a better performance compared to last week - using Conway and Larmour more has made the difference.
Yeah wales a team carrying a few players. Catt deserves credit. Still issues with Murray
