Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
looking forward to a few pints pre-game to settle me nerves.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
As this is going to be the last time for a few years that Ireland play Saracens.. this match is going to be epic.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
There’s 20 points for the intermediate sprint (one of the early laps of the Champs) as well as the finish, so 70 total.

Interesting idea.
I wonder what the breakeven number of supporters is when tickets, pints and burgers are all factored in?
I don’t think we’ll see more than 5k allowed into stadia before Xmas which is surely too small a number to make money from?

Great article. Guys like him and Simon Geoghegan were unlucky to play at a time when Ireland was so far behind everyone.irishrugbyua wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 8:54 am interview with Nick Popplewell about todays game: https://www.the42.ie/nick-popplewell-le ... 3-Sep2020/

We dont produce cyclists like Roche these days who can climb and time trial for yellow jerseyMullet 2 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 8:11 amFúck thatiarmhiman wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 10:16 pmNot done yet.
Bennett is about to win the green jersey at the Tour De France.
It's a jersey for the points competition and is there mainly for the sprinters.
The yellow jersey is the overall winner but that's the winner who completes the tour in the shortest time.
As Sam can't climb steep mountains that well, he was never in with a shout here and is well down in general classifications. He's 5 hours behind the yellow jersey Roglic
Still though green jersey is 2nd in ranking to the yellow so massive achievement........provided he doesn't have a mechanical on Sunday.
He's on 319 points and Sagan in second place is on 264 currently in the points competition
I remember when Charlie won it properly

Ah big match days. I remember those.
Fry for breakfast. Thunderdump then into the gingerman for a few pints. Second dump then stroll to match.

Come on ta fúck
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Despite a VERY bad hangover my pre match poo has been firm and arrived with purpose. I think we can all agree that means only one thing for Leinster
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Big big game for Larmour, Sarries back line is not what it was last year. They are going to box kick/kick for position/garryowen the shit out of the ball I would think. If Larmour can field most of them well it'll give Leinster a big edge.

You guys and your nervous 'dumps' - is it really that hard to deal with human emotions?

I have a bad feeling about this.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Sarries look tense and nervous coming out. Good sign.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I think a lot of hormones start in the stomach/gut so it makes sense based on that fact I'm not sure is real.
Glad there's no fake crowd noise.
