Munster are really easy to defend, and lack the carriers in the pack to play the style JVG wants to.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Munster need to move on to one of the younger tens. JJ is so poor.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
If Van Graan had anything about him, JJ would be hooked for that.

What use is being 7 feet tall if you can't catch a ball?

f**king hell JJ. Jesus Christ.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I don't have a clue what the rules are anymore
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Has anyone managed to keep a count of the penalties? We must be close to 20 at this stage? Each one dumber than the last.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Munster are shite.
Maybe they'll play better with JJ gone ?

I know this is early days in the season and there isn't a lot of game time in the players legs, but this really is dreadful stuff from Munster.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Munster scrum mangled.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
That would be an excuse if Scarlets were finding gaps and mismatches all over the place. It's not an excuse for stupidity - especially not when it's the same stupidity we've been watching for 3 years.Munster-fogs wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 4:16 pm I know this is early days in the season and there isn't a lot of game time in the players legs, but this really is dreadful stuff from Munster.
We've gone from historically being the smartest team in Europe to comfortably the thickest.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Jebus Munster
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Calling this piss poor would be flattering for us.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
That was a try only Coombes had the smarts to get back.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
That was the first bit of good passing from the Scarlets but a great kick recovery by Mun 20.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
This is my main worry these last few years. You can moan about the squad all day long, doesn't excuse the fact we look extremely dumb as a collective.diarm wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 4:18 pmThat would be an excuse if Scarlets were finding gaps and mismatches all over the place. Reminds me of the 2ee2poo era.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Casey took things by the scruff of the neck there. He was stamped all over that try.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
knee to face by scarlets to try scorer
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
What are they checking here FFS?

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
2 Scarlets players hit Farrell late but that could be a straight red for POM.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Munster do something good, so POM evens things out by jumping in elbow first. So stupid.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
It's a second yellow so he'll avoid a ban, but that could have been red, looks to hit Ball in the neck.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Even when we score. F*cking stupid

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
fudge's sake, that's bad.
Could have gone on and had a rattle at a win here.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Should have been a straight red for POM. Useless plum.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Red 21 should walk also sliding in feet first into Farrell
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
There was absolutely no need to be anywhere near that. The stupid penalties are just so frustrating.
Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Think that sums this current Munster side perfectly. After playing like muck for 70 minutes, giving away stupid penalty after stupid penalty and poor decision after poor decision, we finally put a decent move together, claw our way back into the game, only for our captain to get the dumbest and most needless sending off since the days of Dylan Hartley.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I hope we never hear the Oirish taking the moral high ground when it comes to player conduct.
That was disgusting thuggishness. Reprehensible. And incredibly thick. Worth a red card on its own.
