Ta. Grant should flourish in this. Vernon will be interesting to watch, he has pace.

no, she's the only one competing from Jersey, it's just there's others from other countries that are by themselves competing without a team

It's hard to get enthused about Judo, it's a lot of arm slapping and getting penalised for not attacking.

Not long back from Tollcross. Honoured to see Miley cope and deal with that amount of pressure. Hugely impressive stuff.

Gutted for Jamieson though, poster boy and he gets blown away by Murdoch. According to Adlington, Murdoch is even stronger in he 100m :o

How did Jamieson come across in his post race interview? I heard he was a bit of a wit kant...

Oh and Ellie Richardson my fellow Teuchter finished 8th impressive stuff considering she only switched to cycling a few years ago.

As disappointed as Jamieson obviously is, he can hardly complain as it wasn't a bad day, he has NEVER swum that fast!!

He wasn't a wit kant at all, gave credit to Murdoch, but you could see the bitter disappointment he couldn't hide at all. He seemed happier after the medal ceremony.

Pleased to hear it. Be disappointed if he had been.

Some atmosphere there tonight, I'm sure it made a hell of a impact on these guys with 4,000 odd Scots going nuts. Can you imagine how much of an effect it will have on the Athletic bods with 40,000 Scots going batshit crazy at Hampden?

and boring as fudge.
It's not great to watch if you don't understand the sport, however that was not what Jerpy posted.
I loved Judo, it was perfectly suited to my weeble like physique.
Slagging off sports you don't like is a favourite pastime on PR. Why people can't just say it's not their cup of tea I don't know. Plenty of times I've mentioned rugby to people and they give it the old it's rubbish because it's just a bunch of egg chasers diving on the floor and the ref giving lots of penalties for no apparent reason. They don't understand it so it's as boring as fudge.

Except for synchronised swimming obviously. Which should be slagged off at every opportunity.

Why don't Ireland join the Commonwealth? They would be welcomed with open arms and it would be a natural 'club' for them to be part of.

Yeah the Irish really want to tug their forelock when they meet the queen. ROG did it well with his hands in his pockets.....

Besides, it would just be another opportunity for them to fail in a sporting competition.

Well I've managed to miss absolutely everything so far :( But it all seems to be going very well without me. Well done Glasgow.

The Brownlees really are rather wonderful.

I currently have the lawn bowls on in the background. I can see me taking this up. Love it.

I don't talk bollocks about every sport :P . You'll find I'm happy to be educated on ones I know little of e.g. Ice Hockey.
