The reason I checked whether she was or not was because she is very very attractive, and Kiwi women are not.

They were great. There's some weird stuff in London. My sisters ex took us to some old stations that nobody knew were there.w0rdtothe3rd wrote:No-one appreciates the urban exploration pics then?
I was slightly concerned as the second pic had grafitti that looked like 'jrp'.

Urban exploration is quite topical at the moment.

Last month TfL applied to issue anti-social behaviour orders which would not only stop them undertaking further expeditions and blogging about urban exploration but also prohibit them from carrying equipment that could be used for exploring after dark. Extraordinarily, it also stipulates they should not be allowed to speak to each other for the duration of the order – 10 years.

I did, I played Hellgate London for a while. Was set in the London tubes. Some reminiscence. Those photographs depict industrial and construction grittiness and is historically relevant. Always cool.w0rdtothe3rd wrote:No-one appreciates the urban exploration pics then?

Yeah, pisses me off, too.
There used to be a line from Kloof into Durban, but I think they've sold the Railway stations (mostly for Pubs, so it's not all bad), but once the line gets disused it takes a lot of investment to reopen them again.
When my Dad farmed out near Port Shepstone on the Natal South Coast I often used to take the train that went along the coast to Durban. It was a beautiful journey and I always enjoyed it even though it took almost five hours for the 100-odd km.
I was generally the only white guy travelling on it.
As far as I know it hasn't been used since the Apartheid Government closed it down in the eighties.
