Unfortunately not. We didnt own a car when living there so only had a hire car for the weekend. Went for a 3 hour walk over the moors though, highly overrated, time would have been better spent in a nice warm pub in Whitby.

Any camera with a function to have a long exposure can get those pics....of course, the quality varies. Looking at that pic, I'd say a full sensor DSLR with a wide angle lens. It appears that the exposure isn't too long as the stars aren't streaking. I've been trying to take some pics like that but really need to get away from civilisation to do it. That picture is down in Victoria facing the Great Southern Ocean.
