Have you started that thread yet!? I've been reading about the Wars of the Roses lately ... (because I'd just watched The White Queen and listened to a podcast about Margaret Beaufort).

Tides of histroy podcast on the war of the roses is pretty good.

My favourite type of passenger to sit and talk with on a long flight

There might be only two seats in each row separated by the aisle in this case, though. A pity.

It's OK, your missus doesn't read the bored. You don't have to lie to seem sensitive for our benefit.

So sad seeing subsequent generations born into forced service.

Right?

Mr Musk has tweeted that there's 146,000 orders thus far. A fool and his money notwithstanding, he can certainly get the funding in.

My brother in Amsterdam has just ordered one FFS.

It’s one of those things that I’ve really changed my mind on as I’ve grown older. I used to love zoos and whilst I acknowledge they can provide an educational benefit and be used as a place of rehabilitation for sick/injured animals the caging of wild exotic animals for purely entertainment value is something which I really struggle with. I have had a couple of very public spats now with wives of friends who have been ‘Oh I’m such an animal lover me’ and in the next pic there’s one of them pulling an Instagram pose on an elephant in Thailand. FFS. I used to be all for trophy hunting too but am now vehemently opposed. I’m just a kind of Dr Dolittle meets David Attenborough I guess Jeff. A Kevin Pietersen meets Rocky Gervais without any discernible talent or money.
