God, I really hope Donald wins this November. In a landslide would be the cherry on top.
You, and all of these people:

That is truly terrifying that people think that way in this day and age
Right-wing Cuban Americans are the worst and that is before you fold in their belief in God.

Is there any other kind ?

Remember the Elián González saga ?

The frothing wankers suggested that the child was better off growing up with strangers in America, than to go back to Cuba to his Father.

Desperately sad that a group of people get themselves into this mess, and the authorities (have to?) deal with them this way.

Aye, she's just finished a 2 years stint in Nigeria inspecting their prisons for human rights abuses. She says it's not as bad as you'd think - I just think she has a difference understanding of bad to me. She actively pursued jobs in war zones so she can get experience of working in a combat area :uhoh:

Her fella does the same, just got posted in Panama after 3 years in Bangladesh dealing with the refugee camps on the Burma border. They're looking at some serious therapy later in life.

Anyway, picture...

I wonder how many of them are thinking quite the opposite. Whether about oneself or the person behind.

Tatts as gang identifiers is pretty well established, no? Shouldn't be a surprise that prisoners sport such ink in El Salvador of all places. Non-gang affiliated criminals must be rarer than instances of trump telling the truth.

With the white power chap, I wonder how the reconcile the superiority of their skin colour with covering it up almost in its entirety.

Apparently this might not even be a Pompeii resident doing what it looks like he's doing ... but arms bent in the heat. Quite the legacy to leave behind in any time, doing it or just looking like you were have a tug!

They were after a 300C pyroclastic flow surged over them.

Have any if you been to Herculaneum? Smaller then Pompeii but better preserved. There is a quite sobering scene by the port area of a load of skeletons clutching each other, dozens of families trying to take shelter from the eruption, quite sobering.

Herculaneum has houses with a second floor, charred furniture etc. Much closer to real life. It must surely have a lot more such things now - it was about 50 years ago I went there.

Its an astonishing site really. I went there in Feb so the place was empty, quite eerie walking down completely intact streets with the original advertising hoardings preserved on the shop walls. Was surprised to see how far the coastline had retreated as well, the old port was about a kilometer from the sea.
