Its an astonishing site really. I went there in Feb so the place was empty, quite eerie walking down completely intact streets with the original advertising hoardings preserved on the shop walls. Was surprised to see how far the coastline had retreated as well, the old port was about a kilometer from the sea.

The strangest one for that that I visited was Pella, the birthplace of Alexander the Great. In his day it was a strategic port now it is about 20km from the sea....... though to be fair it was serviced by an inlet even in ancient times so wasn't exactly coastal, but it is still bizarre to see. Also the pass at Thermopylae is much wider than it used to be which is a bit puzzling until you realise it used to be narrower.

It's a form of words I'm keen to try out in a variety of contexts: "I'm much older than I used to be which is a bit puzzling until you realise I used to be younger," and so on.

Deadish.

I have a mini cousin who seems to be able to do it all day. Often arranged herself into various forms of the splits while watching the telly.

You shouldn't have those thoughts about your cousin though.

I almost added a disclaimer/ threat that anyone having inappropriate thoughts about my mini cousin would have to answer to me. But decided to pretend it was an entirely innocent question instead.

Jujimufu. Bodybuilder with insane flexibility. He has a background in tricking/acrobatics stuff, and kept it up when he got seriously into bodybuilding and went on the gear.

He's made a career out of doing silly stuff on YouTube.

It certainly looks like she's on stilts. I suspect a bad photoshop.

Heels? I thought perspective, but surely that'd be the opposite. He'd look taller, no?

Anyway ... speaking of size differences.
