What did you do in the War against Apartheid Daddy?

Thought I had thrown these out sometime ago but in having a clean up found them tucked into a manilla folder.

So may happy memories post match, abusing long haired protesters and the commie press......

Actually they broke in where we we're standing behind the dead ball line and things could have gone sideways for a lot of people.

Looking back what a shit show to keep Muldoon in or a few more years.

Looks like you've pasted in the file name rather than the image address. You can't upload pics from your home computer to the forum, they have to be hosted somewhere on the web. Upload to something like tumblr & link from there.

I must put mine up too - if I can still find it. It is in a box in the eaves somewhere.

What's the point in killing a fish like that?

If you're going to take trophy fish, then those ones make much more ethical sense than most.

They aren't native species, they are being caught in man made hyrdo canals and they get that size due to the abundance of food coming out of the fish farms in the canals, rather than having lived an exceptionally long time. Still impressive fish, but it's not like you're taking some magnificent creature out of the natural environment - everything about that fishery is artificial.

I'm all for returning (and practice it myself) big salt-water fish, but with the exception of eels (and taking whitebait), I don't think anyone should really be too concerned about such ethics when it comes to fresh water fishing in NZ.

Well of course if it's an artificial fishery or an invasive species then it's not really a big. Pics of guys holding huge marine fish up on a quayside or in their house is galling.
