That's how it should be according to ancient existing but not applied law? Or that's how it is? Because all these places have their own parliament and Cornwall is keyed in to UK local & national government in a way they are not.

No, I'm most definitely a unionist. I see Wales a distinct entity but am happy for it to remain within the UK. A revival in it's culture and identity is a good thing but that doesn't mean i'm anti English or British.

That's bad luck.
You'd be far better off with Ross Poldark or trelawney or anyone.

You don't have to be anti English to be a plaider, surely?

Anti union with the English. Which is their core aim, to leave the UK.

Funnily enough, landlocked Surrey has no ports....... Except for your mothers famously welcoming port that is.....Waaahhheeeyyyy!
Yeah, well, since 'landlocked' Surrey contained about half of what was probably the biggest seaport in the world for about 150 years, I'm calling you a f*cking idiot.
It's not really surprising that you have such uncharitable thoughts about mothers given the crippling genetic inheritance under which you appear to be labouring.
I am an idiot, I had no idea that your mum was so big, or so old.
On the subject of genuine ports though, Surrey is indeed landlocked, and contains no ports. I have a feeling you're mistakenly referring to some docks on the Thames as ports. That's desperate.....like your mother..... WWwwaaaaAAaAhHhAYyyyY.....precious!
The clue is in the name: Surrey Quays.
Part of the Port of London.
Probably the busiest port in the world between about 1780 and 1920.
As you say, 'some docks'.
