France for me. They have made the final several times and would be great to see them win it.

I can't bring myself to like kiwis and hate all things South African.

I guess I will support Aus and Ireland.

I'm already over it. I was 95% sure we'd lose today.

Last week was the gutting one.

The land of my (grand)fathers from here on.

Or maybe Ireland, they're a lot easier to support without Rog.

Missus is Welsh and likes rugby so unfortunately I have no choice. With the frogs players being together without their horrendous club system being counter productive they have the best chance of the nh teams though

Australia. Although I now worry they're the team that rip it uo early on and stuff it in the semifinals.

I said Australia and Wales at the start and won't change.

Still a shitty thread. The home team who are meant to be semi half decent have gone out in our own tournament..

FFS  :( :(

An Breathain beag (Little Britain) would be the obvious choice. :)

Come on English, get behind Scotland, they're the pluckiest of the home nations.

Yeah, I wasn't very nervous for this game, I couldn't see us winning it - one reason why I was so gutted last week was that we started to look like such a shambles all across the park. Couldn't see that being put right in a week, especially with Farrell at SH.

I'm going to decide on a match by match basis - It'll actually be more enjoyable to watch now that I have no great stake in it.

Aus and Ireland here. Aus because I think they can win it, Ireland because I think they can raise their intensity, they're a home nation, and I'd love to see them make it all the way.

Im moving to Australia next year, so yeah, Aus. I'll end up loving them anyway and Foley was world class tonight after what I felt was an indifferent season from him.

That's the most complete Aussie performance in a LONG time. :((

Always Wales. Balls of steel and your great under pressure. Just don't rub it in. :(

Whoever most deserves it on the balance of style, play, bravery, guts, underdogness and general worthiness. Such is the beauty of neutrality.

The other disappointment of the group of death was that there were fewer good games in other groups ( a Wales V. Sa for example.)

You're describing The Goonies, who don't have the pack to survive the knock out stages.

Wommers is English, they would play chunk at 8 and Sloth at 7.

The English still have a game against Uruguay to look forward to.
Once that's out of the way then they can think about who to support. I expect many will want to support the Welsh.

Australia ( because I have some class Aussie relatives ) and Ireland ( cause my missus is half Irish )
Wales can go swing thanks to the c@nt plastic Welshy Facebook knob who gloats whenever anyone beats England but doesn't know the first thing about rugby.
