I know Jim wants to give JJ time, but he's been our bench player when he's come off the bench.
Annoyed I can't get to the first proper home game. At least Georgie is back!

Could get messy for Northampton (who's lineups look to be getting more ordinary by the week- they really miss Clark/Manoa). Significantly better forward pack- especially on the bench for Sarries imo.
Not particularly inspiring midfield lineups though x( (How is JJ not starting yet with this utter mediocrity before him)

Slight fix ( sorry, pendant Friday :) )

Bloody Hell didn't realise Goode has played more than anyone else! ( except possibly De Kock )
Good to see Spencer getting a serious look in.

Good start from the Sarries pack, im enjoying their offloading. Unsurprisingly their 9/10/12 has been pretty ineffective so far...

loving all the kicking and scrum penalties

do either of these sides fancy trying to score a try at some point?

Not sure any of the centres are capable of catching or passing the ball with any reliability tbf

would be great if the ball occasionally reached the backline rather than constantly sitting at the feet of the Number 8 at scrums

Not late. But that's a bit of an elbow first. Not worth a reversal, but not worth a penalty in the first place.

Tom Wood's regression is startling - you think it must have a point where it can't get any worse but then you see him play another game.

I disagree and think Wood and Farrell both deserve 6 month bans reduced to only applying to internationals only
