There's also the small matter of:

Brexit will be easy - lie
We hold all the cards - lie
We can have the same benefits as membership of the EU - lie
We'll have more control - lie
Loads of Turks are coming - lie
We can be greener/better on animal rights - lie
Better funded public services - lie
Less immigration - likely to be a lie
So people who held no office and would not hold office as a result of a leave vote talked shit

And this from a man who held office and would still be in office if the country voted to leave

EU referendum: Osborne warns of Brexit budget cuts

George Osborne says he will have to slash public spending and increase taxes in an emergency Budget to tackle a £30bn "black hole" if the UK votes to leave the European Union.

The chancellor said this could include raising income and inheritance taxes and cutting the NHS budget.

But 65 Tory MPs have said his position would be "untenable" if he tries to cut NHS, police and school spending.

And Vote Leave criticised Remain's "hysterical prophecies of doom".

The UK votes on whether to remain in the EU or to leave on 23 June.

Both sides were telling pure lies. The chancellor and the governor of the bank of England included. I don't know why people hang on this £350m as if that turned people who wanted to stay in into people who wanted to leave. Personally I think the expansion of the EU to include the Eastern European countries was the beginning of the end for the EU.
It was the UK's policy to encourage enlargement so as to weaken it. How that failed.
Yep Poland doing rather well out of all the money they get from the EU. Northern Europeans are working longer and they will reap the benefit
Polish cut in retirement age comes into force, bucking European trend

Poland’s population of 38 million is among the most rapidly ageing in the European Union.

“The government is throwing away the most effective tool to increase the labour market participation rate,” Benecki said.

The state pension agency ZUS has estimated that 331,000 people could decide to take advantage of the option to retire earlier, which would amount to 2.0 percent of Poland’s 16.3 million workers.

The rapid wage inflation in Poland will encourage a lot of people to head home
The Polish economy is roaring. Apparently they have taken in close to a million (!) Ukrainians. Lots of truck drivers, builders etc since a lot of the locals in those fields went elsewhere in the last 10 years.

Yeah but it's happening in greater numbers now (again it's in the link). The lowering of the pension age is a ticking time bomb that much is obvious.
The EU paying for all those Polish infrastructure projects has been great for Ukrainians

Socialist utopia? You mean employment rights, 30 days holidays a year, and excellent social welfare. What an awful society.
Where's this ?

Fûck you fûcking brexiters

I've just had back to back meetings with two small but very innovative and on trend companies. Both of them are in the drinks supply business, one alcohol one soft drinks.

Both of them have quietly raised finance, not through crowdfunding, for massive expansion. They'd both found new premises, they were both on the way to signing for them.

In the last week, both of their investors (who are VC capital fund investors if I understand it correctly) have pulled out citing uncertainty in the UK market. Both the brewer and the soft drinks manufacturer were already under pressure with the weakness of the pound. The soft drinks guy buys most of his fruit from Europe and supply lines are a major worry

Basically, there's two companies who currently employ 30-35 people who were looking to expand and employ at least the same again. Both of them in very bouyant markets

They'd have employed 12 people on top of that for 6 months redoing the new places

All of this (and I realise this is a tiny microscopic bit of the economy) is gone. And talking to a few people in similar situations, it's not unique

You're a bunch of cûnts

Tessys latest plan leaked to The Times (of London).

Biggest talking points :

- a multiyear, longer than anything stated so far, transition period, and,

- NI in a seperate VAt regime (ie still in the CU and SM).

Yes, I've had a few and yes, it's the beer market (although only 50%). Sorry, but my irony signal has gone.
It's just a completely unnecessary situation and these cûnts are defending it.

I've now got to find about 40k s worth of work for next year just for me, let alone the subcontractors I was going to use.

It's indefensible. When we look back on this in a few years nobody will be able to get their head round what we've done to ourselves.

I really don't know how we got here. I always thought you guys were pretty sensible and we were the ones who constantly had to be on our guard to stop ultra nationalist crazies taking over and fecking everything up.
