The tactics of the national set up filtering down.
I'm not sure anybody had this in mind when we were told Nucifora was going to help implement a national/provincial style of play
The new tactic is clearly to bore our opposition into defeat.

Come back EOS, all is forgiven.

Has Kirchner done anything right yet, absolutely awful stuff.
He makes basic bad decisions, which is not the sort of thing you think you're getting with a 30-cap 3N/Soup player.

Sexton makes the extra man count.

I fear as much.

The Scarlets Blues was a much better game.

And as for Super Rugby...
Not much better quality mind you, it was a right mess at the end. Far more entertaining though I agree.

Watching these games after seeing the Chiefs mop up the Brumbies earlier was never going to be easy.

Wtf was Saili doing?

For all his talk about a skills deficit, at least players know how to defend.

I preferred Haskell's one. Not sure Jonny was as committed there.

I was surprised it came on the persistent pens basis, but it was so blatant it could have earned a yellow in the first minute of the game.

Zebo deliberately knocks ball out... another penalty possible yellow and pen try ( according to the laws)

Zebo slapping the ball out? That really should've been a pen.

No need for that Reddan, but that was another stonewall pen.

Ref is shite, but no real surprise at this level.

Don't think it was deliberate from Zebo anyway, balk just bounced off him as he went to gather.

he would be a great centre without doubt, shame he ended up at hooker as his throwing isn't top level.

It was covered. I'd rather the cut-in and recycle with the momentum than get bundled out.

Kirchner really has stunk the whole of Lansdowne out. Too many average Joe's in our pack today. And a few in the backs too.

Reddan a bit shouty there, but that should have been a pen tbf.

flood gates to open for leinster in the 2h. munster with the typical underdogs showing, ie spirited opening 20 mins but that'll be all they have.

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't - but it was on and you know Connacht would have taken the chance, that's the difference.

His throwing and his hooking. He's terrible at set pieces, but he runs better midfield lines than any rugby player to come out of Limerick since... since... fudge, I've got nothing.
