I'm getting globus in mind but thought Catchpole was Meades' work?Seneca of the Night wrote:Was the leg removal not BG Williams? I can't recall. But I expect it was some kind of pervert cannibalistic frog doctor who took one look at BG's vast thigh and thought "I'll have a piece of that from now until Bastille Day 2000." Apparently he had the saw out until AB management came charging in to stop the decapitation from the depraved Latin libertine.Torquemada 1420 wrote:You reckon Kahn needs his leg removed? He's been sh*te but that's harsh.Seneca of the Night wrote:When are Sarries bringing on Pinetree Meads?
Deeply sick people.

It must be a coaching thing as Lee Dickson does exactly the same thing.Torquemada 1420 wrote:He's so slow that he makes Parra look dynamic.DragsterDriver wrote:Every single breakdown.Floppykid wrote:Khan has been dreadful, how many times has he been caught at the back of the ruck.
Great. Another injury and our second best player off. f**king hell

Closest I've seen Ashton come to f**king up the try with that swan dive.

New one to me! Will check it out later.Seneca of the Night wrote:
You may not know this story, but a French doctor decided to chop BG's leg off after a minor strain injury in 1973.
(I think).
Would have to check my sources but it was only a major intervention that stop the madman going to town in the bowels of Parc de Princes.
Re: Sarries - Saints, NTHEC, Allianz Park, 1745
Ashton jumped in to the tackle.
Re: Sarries - Saints, NTHEC, Allianz Park, 1745
Saints are just so shit at 9 & 10. Hard to believe they scored so little with the all the ball they had in the first half.
Sarries unlikely to concede the lead now.

Matfield might be the worst overseas buy by any Prem club ever. He's useless
Re: Sarries - Saints, NTHEC, Allianz Park, 1745
Well at least they managed to make thre whole match worth watching, which was more than I thought we'd do.

In a car crash way. Rugby has been utter garbage. The only interest was the schadenfreude possibility of Sarries blowing it.Double wrote:Well at least they managed to make thre whole match worth watching, which was more than I thought we'd do.

Nutley and Harrison have been good to watch. The latter surely has to tour with the Saxons.Torquemada 1420 wrote:In a car crash way. Rugby has been utter garbage. Brave effort, but Sarries weren't going to be shite all game.
Saints will rue that opening quarter.

Jeez. Even at the end Saints dash my hopes by screwing my points margin.
Re: Sarries - Saints, NTHEC, Allianz Park, 1745
Sarries deserved winners in the end.
Very impressed by Harrison for Saints. Don't know much about him but he was real class.

Horrible sort of game to lose- go into it expecting the worse and then fate teases you with the possible unexpected win.Saint wrote:like I used to say, I could always handle the despair of being a Saints fan. It was the hope that was unbearable
Rather horrible how the shitty piece from Greenwood in the Telegraph re Ashton actually looked quite insightful for the try.
Thought the ref was pretty odd at the breakdown.
And Sky could do with finding all angles on a replay before the TMO/ref makes a decision. They could also do with just going away and leaving rugby alone. Horrible closeups that need wide shots, odd angles on the psts for a kick, and general showing of replays when play is restarting. How they do cricket so well, but have no idea about rugby is a mystery

BT sport are by no means perfect, but it's far more enjoyable to watch/listen.Dunnikin Diver wrote:Horrible sort of game to lose- go into it expecting the worse and then fate teases you with the possible unexpected win.Saint wrote:like I used to say, I could always handle the despair of being a Saints fan. Barnes and that clown interviewer just get worse, and from a very low starting-point, but at least in the past the camerawork/direction allowed viewing of the flow of the game, That was awful.Raggs wrote:BT sport are by no means perfect, but it's far more enjoyable to watch/listen.Dunnikin Diver wrote:Horrible sort of game to lose- go into it expecting the worse and then fate teases you with the possible unexpected win.Saint wrote:like I used to say, I could always handle the despair of being a Saints fan. BT rugby cover is much better, need the sound turned off to watch Sky without the annoying vocalsDunnikin Diver wrote:Barnes and that clown interviewer just get worse, and from a very low starting-point, but at least in the past the camerawork/direction allowed viewing of the flow of the game, That was awful.Raggs wrote:BT sport are by no means perfect, but it's far more enjoyable to watch/listen.Dunnikin Diver wrote:Horrible sort of game to lose- go into it expecting the worse and then fate teases you with the possible unexpected win.Saint wrote:like I used to say, I could always handle the despair of being a Saints fan.
