Re: OFFICIAL U.S. Election Thread: TRUMP vs. HILLARY
I think Trump will wipe the floor with Clinton, potential landslide victory.
Trump has proven himself adept at making other people's flaws an issue whilst his own don't seem to become an issue. Hillary is a Washington insider and establishment candidate, bought and paid for by Goldman. She is also deeply flawed and widely loathed, there are question marks over her health and her honesty which whether real or not will be exploited by Trump. Lyin' Ted is gone, crooked Hillary Clinton up next.
I would expect Trump to move to a far more sensible place policy wise, he's no longer after the Conservative vote as they have no place else to go now.

It's way too soon to call it and there's no end of twists and turns ahead but, for me, at this stage, I cannot see a Trump win thankfully.
Trump will be trounced by female voters, young well-educated voters, recent immigrants and first-generation Americans and African Americans. Can't see him winning Florida, Virginia, Colorado or Pennsylvania.

Do we really need another political US thread? How many American posters are there? I say start one thread and make floppy their mod. Darn Americans taking over everthink and spoiling the board for the rest of us.

As ever Bill Hicks musings on US presidential elections are very apt though.

I can't say I'm nearly as inspired buy Hillary as I am revolted by Trump .I suspect a lot of voters will see it that way and she'll sail into the white house.
I am interested in why Hillary is viewed with such loathing. She has a reasonable record overall-is pretty moderate and obviously has tremendous ambition. She represents the establishment, is part of the troubling tradition of USA dynastic politics and possibly will be the last mainstream candidate given how the US bipartisan system is quite obviously no longer fit for purpose.
Is it because she's a woomin? I suspect a great deal of it is.

You may not get a vote, but the US election probably impacts your country's foreign policy far more than the election of your own President/PM/Chancellor/Emperor/Maharaja etc

And that their 'arrangement' has been a thing of convenience for a very long time indeed.
I have no doubt that they get along pretty well, but one of the reasons she was able to throw that off was that they don't have a conventional marital situation.
Just kind of demonstrates how ruthless both of them are.
There's no way Trump can win. Too many demographics voting against him.

Trump will spend the next few months grabbing some of the black vote. Romney lost with 59 percent of the white and 6 percent of the black vote. He got 26 percent of the Asian and 27 percent of the Hispanic.
I expect Trump will get more of the white and a lot more of the black vote than Romney, but drop massively on the Hispanic. But anyway the latest polls have Trump and Hillary neck and neck.
