Just a reminder to everyone that Trump lied to the American people and people died.

He is even now holding indoor rallies.

He can’t understand why Woodward is so concerned with Covid when the stock market is doing so well.

there is that rumor spreading that all of this is engineered to condition us to accept a vaccine through which an electronic chip will be inserted in our body

The worrying thing is that I have now come across a number of people who believe this theory :!:

It's amazing the number of paranoiacs out there.

The issue that ‘blacks’ have with modern republicans dates back to their opposition to civil rights in the 50s and 60s.

Not the formation years of the GOP.

Fairly odious talking points imo, trying to label people racist because politics

Bit like some of the riot pictures, where iirc there were pictures piles of stones / bricks apparently placed there the night before so as to be ready for the rioters to use. It later turned out the stones had been stacked there to act as security bollards and had been in place for over a year.

Probably by a similar amount to that to which the deliberate misrepresentation of the nature of the majority of the protests in order to avoid addressing the underlying issues will have comforted them.

Regardless of the semantics, voters are watching the "events" taking place, and making their own judgments about who is to blame, who is involved, who is complicit, and who might make it stop.

Why doesn't Biden just say "our boys, your grandfathers, didn't sacrifice their lives so a bunch of commie owned politicians can destroy our freedom and momma's apple pie."

He'd win in a landslide.

Aanyway this is an interesting development that has been overlooked a bit on here.

Reading around this it seems her objection is not about the merits of the Durham investigation. Instead she is complaining that they aren't being given enough time to do it properly.

My guess is that many people will have made up their minds as to who is to blame before and despite any evidence, and they will be the most vocal..

Well said, Mick.

Clinton had nonetheless received almost three million more votes (65,853,514 - 62,984,828 = 2,868,686) in the general election than Trump, giving Clinton a popular vote lead of 2.1% over Trump.[31]

not necessarily - just the right number of people in a couple of battle ground states ; remember the US has a variation on democracy whereby its not who gets the most votes that wins ; can you imagine if orange sh1tgibbon won the popular vote but lost the election ?  now that would be fcukin hilarious

The popular vote doesn't mean much in a country where turnout is already low and lots of people (e.g. blue state republicans) don't vote because it is pointless.

If the popular vote did matter you might get a different sort of turnout.
