What I would like to have on my desk each morning is a clean clear single sheet of A4 paper that summarises all the key events that have happened in the world in the past 24 hours, expertly and diligently shorn of any language hinting at the slightest bit of commentary or human bias. That way I can tune out everything else. I outlined this dream of mine to a friend, and she said 'so what you want is a newspaper.'

I'm not sure I have enough confidence in the electoral system in the Sates to be satisfied that a) no skulduggery takes place in the counting and b) any politically appointed judge would be prepared to address it in any case.
