It's interesting. The mid-terms weren't necessarily about Trump in that pitching as anti-Trump didn't win elections. The GOP had been able to make Obama the villain over health care, something that affected every man, woman and child, but Trumpism isn't nearly so clear cut, or wasn't when it wasn't directly about him that time round. The winners were those who looked to keep Obamacare and shut up about Trump, which is not entirely surprising.
