He's spoken openly about his opinion of Trump since his retirement (as he's perfectly entitled to do), so Trump does have a right of reply of sorts. I saw a very interesting (as in not in the context that Santa would use the phrase) article on fake news on the BBC and the amount of resources the Russian State (and before them, the Soviet Union) put into the generation of subtly subversive conspiracy theories and the effectiveness of these. They covered Pizzagate and it's origins, but they also examined others which have a devoted following in Africa, namely that AIDS was a successful project developed in a CIA lab and designed to selectively cull the human population. I have no doubt that people like WT regard this as highly likely.

From what I've read, Trumps MO seems to be not paying his contractors or not paying in full once the job is done, which business practices seem to attract a lot of admiration in America.
