The fact that he managed to convince the world that he wasn't gay is remarkable.

I think he was "in a relationship" with many women.

He was also a devout Jehovah's Witness. Repressed maybe?

Seriously. What straight man in the history of the world dresses like this? Unless they're on a stag's do.

Like I said ... remarkable achievement.

The Armadeus of our times? Or the Byron? He's ahead of Vedder, Cobain, & Bono for mine. Maybe not Rodriguez, but Sixto's more of an acquired taste, to be fair.

The sex funk has dated quite badly but when he channeled Sly Stone (Sign o the times) or wrote a love song rather than a fvck song (nothing compares of course, most beautiful girl in the world, raspberry beret) he was better than any of his contemporaries.

Everyone's favourite Prince moment had to have been him trashing that earnest, worthy tribute to George Harrison when he smears a steamy Hendrix dump all over While My Guitar Gently Weeps then throws his guitar into the heavens like a total midget boss. You've all seen it by now surely, it's in the Utube

See the OP. I told you to watch it all.

Do not rewind to prior to 3:30.

Pretty simple, really.

Has it occured to you that you might have completely the wrong end of the stick? There was a very tense moment on the BBC Breakfast prog where one of the presenters confessed to having been invited to dance with His Royal Purpleness and a (seemingly drunk) Lisa Stansfield asked her whether 'she did' or not. Much blushing ensued...

Prince was the most greatness superb magnifico incredibly.
A true god amongst goats.
He was to us mere mortals what Timothy Dalton was to submarine mechanics.
He was the alpha male and the omega female.
He was so incredibly talented, that he was very amazing.
He was He-man times two, with a third of Rambo to the power of twenty Austrian prostitutes.
In short...he was everything anyone in the world could ever want to be, if that's exactly what they happened to ever want to be.
A true legend (as opposed to a false one) and as Charlie Murphy once testified in a solemn documentary... "dat cat could ball".

Considering his last of conquests, i cannot help but share your thoughts on this issue

His list includes, but not limited to:

Sheena Easton
Sherilyn Fenn
Madonna
Kim Bassinger
Carmen Electra
Susannah Hoffs

Now gay or not gay, bisexual or whatever you want to label him, read that list again.

Susannah Hoffs!!!!! :o SUSANNAH fvcking HOFFS!!!! :o :o  Any person who shagged Susannah Hoffs is a God in my eyes.
Carmen Electra. If not a God, then at the very least a demigod for banging ms. Electra.
Sheena Easton. Hell yeah!
Kim Bassinger. Not a bad little conquest either.

Okay so maybe he was #2,864,081,274,483 in the queue for Madonna, but still....

Just googled that Hoffs lady. We share the same birth date, as with the late Muhammad Ali.

"Nothing compares to you" is still one of the best songs ever. IMO.
