Just voted, polling station is about 50 yards from my door and was worried that there would be a queue, no such issues, in and out inside 2 minutes.

There is a massive thunderstorm rolling on the top of my house at the moment. The rain is biblical. This is a sign. I'm just not sure for what.

That HE is turning England in to a Ark, and saying if you don't leave it, I'll make you by flooding it. Shirly

Voted remain, Brexit didn't make a convincing case of the benefits for me despite the best efforts of Dre, Dai and Silver.

A lot of people in the South won't get to polling stations with the flooding especially in London as well.

It's a trap!

Unlike the mainland, the votes in NI have never been counted straight after the election.
Like down south they start the count the following morning.
I would think that this hints that counting at 10pm is a TV thing rather than an old tradition.
I see in 1945, the first votes were cast on 5th July, other areas voted on 12th July, and the last places to vote did so on the 25th July.
Counting in all began on the 26th.

The Sun! oh dear, your projection is wonderful Duff, you must be wonderfully sophisticated, or my summation of the Irish economy was a home truth too far for you. I just wanted to remind Sefton of when he lost it and went all Scouse, when people objected to the "art" he posted.

You Irish have shown more interest in this referendum than the English

For the last week or so the remain campaign have been very active on the ground in Hammersmith. They have been handing out stickers which a lot of people are now wearing. Even a new tory remain group were there today.
It seems to be a lot higher profile street campaigning then for a general election.

On that basis, I am going to predict a high turnout. 65-70% ? Is that high ?

last Euro referendum was 64%, the last GE was 66%. Anything approaching 70% would be high by modern standards

Well, I can remember at least that you had some gardening leave between positions as an employee, because you tried to take another employee with you, I don't see that my assumption is that wild, Tony............

I wasn't really trying to hook you though Henry, you can pull the hook out now.

I'm fully aware you weren't trying to hook me. Your laughable self-regard wasn't dripping in good humour, rather panicking, bluffing idiocy. Talking of bluffing idiocy, don't presume you know what I do or what I've done. You daft arse.
