Durant is doing a Trump. He has infiltrated the opposition and will sabotage them from within.

mmyeah, that doesn't work out man. We tried and hoped with Eddie Jones in England. The fkr just made them the best team on the planet, besides the AB of course, in like, a week and a half. Didn't even try and take his time even, you know. This shit don't work man. GSW gon be brutow for 82 games, bust everybody's butts for probably the first two post season rounds, and then the season actually starts. They can play with dildos up their asses the whole game they'll still score twice as many as the opponent on average. And with Steve Kerr enjoying the sight on the sideline getting inspired for his HT wank...

Not NBA but UCLA are supposed to be relevant this year, they got an incoming freshman who is considered the #1 PG prospect, Lonzo Ball - the oldest of three brothers, all of whom have committed to UCLA I believe. He led Chino Hills HS to an undefeated season and the California state championship last year:

Gonna take in some games as always, so far got tickets to the Spurs @ Kings, Villanova-St John's @ MSG and the NCAA tournament games in Sacramento.

Ball's stats from that trip to Australia: 33% from 2, 17% from 3 with a 33% usage rate

Oregon will be the top team in the Pac 12 IMO.

A hungus that can't shoot is not ideal...

NBA starts tomorrow.

I'm not sure what to make of the Thunder - there's just so many question marks about the roster. They could win 35 games... they could win 48. I am immensely looking forward to seeing how it all pans out, and with very little expectations this season, I'm more relaxed than usual!

Adams v. Embiid to start things off will be tasty.

Spurs up 18 on the Warriors at HT.

Warriors have no idea out there defensively, and are getting bullied on the glass.

I'm sure they'll work it out eventually, but I really, really hope they don't...

Up 20 after 3...

Leonard putting on a show.

Without Bogut, LMA is also feasting, as are all the Spurs going to the rim. Zaza is getting killed.

Good to see the Warriors get humbled in their first game. Even if I expect them to dominate later in the season once their combinations develop.

I'm a fan of Stephen A Smith, don't get me wrong I disagree with most of what he says but he's an entertaining loudmouth who is smarter than people assume. Intrestingly he usually is the one who is always supporting players and defending them and their decisions so it takes a lot for him to reverse that position on a matter.

Though I won't say I disagree with him here but I also don't agree. The mental strength of todays players is clearly weak sauce compared to generations past and far more selfish even if they are publically "nicer" and less bas boy like. Though Durrnt is a case of mental weakness, always indecisive and a victim, trying to be one thing like I don't care bad boy to trying to be the nice boy done good. But frequently being a moany whiner about fair media questions and stories. I used to love him but I'm really rather cool about him these days. He wants everything to go his way and is really thin skinned.

The interesting thing is will Durrant affect the team chemistry? Adding a better player can remove effectiveness of other players and team synergy. I say that because Durrant and Westbrook never really "got it" and team play goes. Sure they gave the other one their dues and time witht he ball. Both were exceptional individuals, but you never felt they were the sum of the parts or could make their team mates be better.

The thing is with Durant (I have watched a shit load of his play in the last 3 years) is that he does not move off the ball and despite his length he can be a shit defender at times. He is basically a better Carmello Anthony with a worse attitude.
Klay or Dray's usage is going to go way down as Durant will eat up plenty of shots; how that is managed by Kerr will be fundamental to how their season goes offensively.

But it is defense that is going to kill them. While Durant will get plenty of boards, they generally aren't contested. Their interior defense is woeful, Green lacks height and Zaza is woeful, Bogut made Green look good, but Bogut is now in Dallas. Curry is going to have to defend more and he has trouble staying in front of his man, the more he defends, the more tired he may get and this may affect his offense.

The great thing about the opening night is that both 'super teams' lost by 29 points.

Uh

Knicks are not a super team going by the loudest sources. ESPN doesn't even have them in the playoffs lol

I love how, just listening to these idiots on TNT, "no one in the media had San Antonio playing this well, it was all about Golden State"
Yeah, no shit, that sums up the mainstream sports media beautifully

Losing Bogut will hurt them in the playoffs

They will be a good regular season team, GSW, but for the playoffs, facing probably Spurs/Clippers/Blazers/Jazz, need a better defensive centre than Zaza (who is a decent positional and post defender, but woeful help defender / rim protector) and Anderson "Queen of the flops" Varejou

Around March the media will figure out just how good Bogut was in Kerr's motion system and defensively. He covered up sooooo many perimeter breakdowns cause Curry gambles alot

I just saw the boxscore of the OKC v 76ers game. OKC aren't going to do well long-term by relying on Westbrook to get triple doubles every game.

The young Lakers side won the first game of the season. They've nearly beaten their record from last season already.

50 point & 16 rebound game for Anthony Davis in a Pelicans' loss. It sounds like he was outstanding.

That plum is a Doctor, and alleges Russ called him fat.

Tehui,

Russ got 18 trip-dubs last season. He'll need to keep packing the stat sheet for the Thunder to make the playoffs this season.

Happy to get the win yesterday, but they have a lot of work ahead of them - which is entirely expected, given the roster overhaul - which is far from done, I'd wager.

Meanwhile, KD still remains a puddle mentally: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/1790 ... -aimed-him

And there's two great games going on at the mo. Go Kings!

EDIT: Oh, and AD better stay healthy this season! Please!

Anyone less interested in the NBA these days ? I don't mean on the macro scale like before VS now, I mean just from last year to this year. The Spurs, "my team", beat up the Broken State Worriers as I like to call them, ha ha hilarious I know, and I couldn't even bother to look up the highlights. Well, that's also due to the fact that nba.com is the single worst official website to a major sports league of all time these days, they can't be fkd to even fix that video highlights issue outside the States, from here in France you get an error page every time lol, apparently something to do with time zone, ridiculously pathetic.

I dunno, it'll be more of the same won't it... I mean the teams that suck, SUUUUUUCK, I've no clue who the fk plays for Milwaukee or where the hell those Pacers are at now for e.g., and the teams that are good have aaaaall the good players, always been that way sure but this is just another level, and everybody shoots threes... I dunno. And I'm tired of the Bron-cock riding. I was a Bron supporter when everybody was on Kobe's cock and I thought he was getting tons of unfair hatred, but since he started serendipitously winning titles everybody's been deepthroating the man beyond common imagination of the human anatomy.
