Does anyone know what the Cavaliers were thinking when doing this?

Just got home from the Kentucky-UNC/UCLA-tOSU doubleheader in Vegas. Lots of talent on the court. Lonzo Ball probably the most fun player to watch I've seen since Jason Williams. Not as flashy but his passes and his vision are insane. Decent shooter too, despite a weird motion. And very active hands on defense. Kentucky-UNC was the best December college basketball game I've seen in a long time. Tons of talent on both sides but Malik Monk went off for 47. This draft is gonna be absolutely stacked at PG.

P.S. Kentucky fans are the most obnoxious crybaby rednecks I've come across. They show up in force though.

That's cool, it was a great game indeed. Monk was unbelievable. Carolina had poor execution on their last two possessions after unfathomably putting themselves into position to win a game they trailed the whole way through.

Berry's shot (with about 20 seconds left) was maddening. It was not the shot they were looking for.

The NBA final preview between the Cavs v Warriors is currently on. It feels like a play off game atmosphere.

A little too much KD so far... best player on the best team. :frown:

Cavs are hanging tough without JR, tho.

Cavs go on a run which is punctuated by a James dunk!

Helluva good game!

Cavs win by 1.

Kyrie > Steph. Again.

Also, LeBron is now 18-4 against Durant.

Great game in Eugene, UCLA lose their first game of the season, Ducks making two clutch threes in the final seconds. Bill Walton not taking it too well.

Only game I would predict with some measure of certainty would be Jazz over Philly. Raptors should beat Phoenix but its the second night of a back to back on the road for them. OKC-Memphis is the hardest to forecast a winner. They have near identical records and Thunder have been in better form of late but the game is in Memphis.

In the words of Charles Barkley last week, Marc Gasol is ballin' right now. And I'm assuming Mike Conley is playing tonight.

It will be interesting to see how they will adapt when Parsons starts playing regularly. They've looked pretty decent without him, so if he can come back and regain form then they are a legitimately dangerous team.

With regard to OKC, I don't think they're as useless without Westbrook as everyone seems to suggest they are, but they are going to need some time before the young'uns are really up to speed.

Anyways...
Charlotte
Memphis
Cleveland
Utah
Toronto
Lakers

Caveat re: Toronto for the reason Smee mentioned.

The Suns played on the road last night as well. Raptors are strong favourites.

Conley is out for the Grizz... obviously a big boost for the Thunder - but the Grizz still have the pieces to shutdown Russ and the bigs.

Oladipo + Payne are close to a return for the Thunder. Yay! They'll be needed, as January's schedule is brutal... :uhoh:

More than enough to shutdown Russ...

He got ejected.

Team was getting killed, so I don't mind. Gasol beasted on Adams.

The team still can't hit 3s for shit.

Meh.

Need Dipo + Payne back.

The Lakers are as bad as anyone in the league right now.

Mavs have been better of late. Still a chance for the playoffs... which goes to show how bad the lower half of the West has been.

Happy with how Malcolm Brogdon has done in his few starts in Milwaukee. He was one of my fav college players last season and a true student-athlete (spent 5 years at UVa and graduated with a masters degree). That he was taken in the 2nd round but has performed so well thus far adds to his cachet imo.

Assuming you are asking for gambling purposes, too many coin toss games today imo.

Im betting Spurs, Lakers and Rockets tomorrow and the over on the Rockets game. I think Harden and Westbrook put on a show in that game and as poorly as the Rockets shot on Monday v the Wizards they will revert to the norm on Thursday.

The Thunder will be shot to shit. Second night of a road B2B, and 3rd road game in 4 nights. If they win in Houston, it will be their best win on the season.

The bigger game is tonight. Really could do with a win...
