Harsh on Drexler who led his team to the NBA finals twice only to encounter the Bad Boys in full swing and then THE GOAT! who was in a "So I took it personally" kinda mood, before he finally got his title win.
You must have misinterpreted what I said, Drexler was awesome but he was in MJ's shadow a bit. In college he was almost identical in terms of athleticism to MJ too. PG13 is like a Drexler ie looks similar to this generations MJ but in his shadow, hopefully with Kawhi he can finally get over the hump. Speaking of bad luck in MJ era in terms of athleticism etc I still feel for the likes of Dominique Wilkins, Patrick Ewing and Shawn Kemp...

Glad playoffs back on track. Am still picking a battle for LA in the western conference finals. And probably Bucks vs Raptors again in the east. Who are everyone else picking?

Big 34 point win for the Rockets. First time they have had everyone healthy since the restart. Westbrook’s shot had some rust but his playmaking got guys like Covington going.

I can't stand the Rockets' style of play. Will be interesting to see how the clash of styles unfolds in the series.

Did they change the playoffs format this year? Or it's still East vs West final?

Agree. Rockets are a likeable team (personnel wise) but their style is awful though. If they succeed with it I will be scratching my head but still will say good on them though

So good to hear The Round Mound of the Rebound owning Stephen A.

Great first up win by the Rockets and fingers crossed the Bucks get swept!!!

Lebron usually loses game 1 in series. Interesting to see what they can come up with for game 2 though...

Charles Barkley's words where good. Stephen A is wrong in saying such jobs are never offered to potential black coaches. There's a good list of them (Rivers, Thomas, Kidd, Fisher) who were given top coaching jobs without it being offered out. Especially given the context that it was highly likely Kevin Durrant who threw his name as a potential coach having worked with him at Golden State.

If anything, there's a bias towards former point guards becoming NBA head coaches without coaching experience. Former players who played in other positions might be good coaches too.

I recall when LA & Milwaukee both lost game 1 of the first round they said it was the first time in about 17 years that had happened. I wonder if it's ever happened that both 1 seeds lost game 1 in the first AND second rounds. Unlikely.

Bucks are f*cked which increases the chances of Giannis forcing a trade, I guess. Warriors twitter has been insufferable on that topic of late.

Bucks eliminated. They should have come out of the East, but that's the way it goes sometimes in sport. I didn't expect Miami to make it to the Eastern finals.

Raptors v Celtics in game 7. Winner goes through to the Eastern Final to face Miami. I'm picking the Raptors, but it's a 50/50 game really.

Lakers through to Western finals after a 4-1 series win against the Rockets. I didn't think the Rockets would get beaten so convincingly.

I'm not surprised at all. The Rockets small ball game was always something that could simply not work against a team that had the time to plan exclusively for it and the reality is that the Lakers were set up to counter it in that they could go 'small' (as in no traditional big) but still be significantly bigger than the Rockets. I didn't expect the Lakers D to shut down the Rockets so thoroughly, but a 4-1 result didn't surprise me.

I still think the Clippers will take due to Kawhi factor. But not a sure thing.

Kawhi is indeed a champion. The Clippers will be slight favourites, but the Nuggets have all the momentum.

Paul George current 1/7 from the 3 line, could we be watching a Clippers choke?

1 from 7 overall.

The Clippers bench is keeping them ahead at the moment though, Harrell has turned up for the first time this series.

Denver's game plan of giving up a big lead at halftime has worked the last couple of games, they're on track for that right now.

Epic choke on the cards for the Clippers. The Nuggets have played well, but the Clips have just shat the bed in the second half.

If Doc Rivers was white he'd have been sacked already.

Would have been great to see the Battle for LA tho.
