Coog and Missi? Suppose they don't fit the OP criteria because they got the banhammer.

For the NZers Grouch poked his head back up last week, good to see him back.

What if someone dies? Nobody here knows me in real life... Which is quite comforting. I've often wondered about that. It's not as if I might post a goodbye message... Unless I'm Coog.

MissI was as mad as a hatter in some eyes but her posts were rather good. She was quite an attractive lady too.

Remember her posts about cakes?

I'm sorry Green Eyes doesn't wander past occasionally.

Aitch has more or less disappeared (probably the trip to Coventry has worn her out).

So many more. I'm still desperately trying to remember who used to do the song quiz.

Different bloke.
Grouch was a grumpy kiwi. Groucho was an articulate Australian.

To the poster asking about posters dying, we are aware of three that have passed on.

JRP had a temporary ban, then once his ban expired he did not return. I believe this also applied to England's Call. Softie had a ban in his later posting career, but I'm not sure it prompted his passing. Can't imagine Karahi being banned.

Who was the 'trianculla' chap who thought he'd merk'd everyone.

And we miss Harrythebastard / Harrythebastardreturns

Edit: Answering my own question it was 'Roberts' I think.

Neither of the two I mentioned were necessarily classic posters, but brought some hilarity.
