I could be a massive wedge, but it wouldn't take long for the financial savings to pay back.
10 Billion per year is what I've heard it costs Britain to prop up NI.

I'd trust Martin to go to the shops for me over Arlene to be fair.
According to his financial statements he'd bring you back the change too.

Its because of pettiness like that why Northern Ireland is f**ked.

Only hope is that the next generation wont be as bad.

He will die on Ireland, if he wants to die in Ireland I'll give him a lift into the ROI if he wants :D

Also note, as much as a b@stard as he is he is still 3 times the politician than any of the fu.ckwits in the DUP or Gerry Adams

Aside from all of the terrorism and murders etc., Marty has always come across well as a politician imo.

Marty was a complete and utter callous cúnt for whom the end justified the means. However he has been the most statesman like politician in NI since the peace process was signed.

McGuinness is one of the few/ only shinner that i have any respect for. Never lied about his past and genuinely seemed to want to move NI forward for all

If they're smart somebody from the new generation. But that may not fly with the hardcore element of the northern support

I suspect they won't nominate, and NI politics will be back into negotiations chaired by both Governments. The Shinners scent an opportunity in the Brexit talks, and they would see no assembly as strengthening their hand.

Who mentioned Joint Authority ? I've just said there will be another round of negotiations, ostensibly about what the shinners see as DUP footdragging on 'equality issues'. The shinners will try and spin these out so that Brexit issues become relevant and will try and include them. Whether their strategy works is a different question.
