cant we just pay the south to take the north from the UK.

I could be a massive wedge, but it wouldn't take long for the financial savings to pay back.

I was listening to Eamonn Mallie on the radio yesterday morning and he was very pessimistic about elections taking place anytime soon in the event of a deal not being worked out....... Any idea why he would think that ?. I only got the last part of the interview .
