Halfpenny has done it at least twice as well.
Probably standard practice catching a high ball now
Always has been though. Get your knee up to protect your core. Adds a bit of a cradle too should you not catch it cleanly.

It's the studs out technique which is a bit dubious but I've no real problem with it.

Wonder will Jones come in as frontrunner for the 13 shirt on the Lions, no real standout of all the 13's for me IMO but Jones has been impressive

You're a dumb fvck if you think Lacey has been consistent

Finn Russell- has he made negative yards with the pass today?

Scrappy game but Wales edging the collisions. Their pack looking very solid and Webb buzzing around effectively too. Scotland dangerous off limited possession.

He's definitely studied at the Lee Byrne School of Up and Under catching.
Didn't Byrne knock someone out once? Maybe a Scot?
Hugo Southwell and Geoff Cross in separate games.

Daft. Pin the oppo by the shoulders with your knees, and still get a penalty. Nigel Owens may be rubbish in some senses, but that's the kind of thing he'll pick out instantly and call it.

Anywho, a standard half of Welsh Edwards-inspired defensive rugby. Took our try well, defended well. Given the disparity in possession and territory, it really should have ended 16-6. Sweaties still very much in this now though.
Preventing rolling away to get a pen works for Wales game in, game out.

Given your strike rate with correct statements this says a lot for me, thanks

Geoff Cross knocked himself out by running into him inexplicably.
