Off we go. To Parklife.

One of the new arrivals has a bit of fluid around her heart. I had a chat with the consultant today.

He's not too terribly bothered it appears.

I've had chat with the man upstairs. Nothing is guaranteed in this life.

A bit high. I'd have gone for his knees.

I had a cracker against Braintree in a second team match.

Got him.

The irony is that my first knee op, where they took the cartilage out was at Black Notley. He was in the bed opposite! He had a rather nasty accident on his scooter.

He had a load of mates who brought tons of ale which was stored under his bed.

When I recovered from the op, I wandered over and we consumed vast quantities of said ale.

I had to call for the nurse several times to provide the necessary bit of kit to have a pee in.

He was in a bad shape; had all sorts of pins and nails but, this is important, his team members turned up every day.

Bloody marvellous.

We had a silly competition with the nurses. It basically consisted of who was the most likely to have a shag.

He married one of them! Her name is "Joy" which I think is just the ticket.

Just because I can. If "nobody" cares, they can just ignore it.

Come on Frillage, post something remotely interesting or funny.

I cannot wait.

You don't have to. Your privilege. I'm a great advocate of "post as you please" as long as it's appropriate.

Have a look at how many are logged on here just now. It's a desert. I have tried to liven things up by being deliberately awkward.

Looks like I'm going to go. Pity really, been on here a while but we have now got some ludicrous this and that.

Plus. I have quite a lot of other things to do in my life.

No, I'm sorry that poor excuse is neither polite nor smart.

Would you walk through a kids playground smoking a pipe and chuffing smoke everywhere? No. Because your actions in that scenario impact others. "But don't breathe it in..." just doesn't cut it.

Your decision to litter every third thread in this forum with your metaphorical pipe smoke is getting tedious. Whilst few of us are the forum equivalent of children (Silver excepted), it's still antisocial. Yes, you are funny and occasionally interesting (which is why we put up with your pipe smoke to an extent) but you're in danger of becoming the slightly embarrassing pipe smoker who has been known to let his black mac slip and reveal something that brings back one's dinner.

Please go back to being funny and oddball - it's what this forum tends to be about. Please don't descend into an antisocial frustration to us all which requires intervention by the equivalent of the bobbies.

Lining up this year's parade, before the big one next year.

Had the War Memorial cleaned. I am so proud of my Town. They turn up in great numbers.

The local tailor is the British Legion head here. We gave him a gun, plus other things. Smuggled it in.

You want to see his partner in war kit. And I mean stockings and suspenders.

Nope. My family were in farming and never joined the services, neither did I.

I have flown a plane and chucked myself out of a few.

Three actually.

I am taunting the Management to do the same with me from Sibson.

She is not keen.

My great sailing mate Paul Bancroft was a big bloke. His kids are truly massive.

I wrote much of his funeral service with the now Archdeacon of Northampton. Rev Ormiston.

St Peter's Church and son comes out with "Great tits dad" when referring to his new wife.

The Rev is now in Northampton, nearer the Saints!

And there I am in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at three o' clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&M's to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night.

So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door and mentions there's a little sweetshop on the edge of town.

So, we go, and - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby breaking into this little sweetshop right?

Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger.

Well I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son, that's a different story altogether...

I had to beat them to death with their own shoes...

Nasty business really...

But sure enough, I got the M&M's and Ozzy went on stage and did a GREAT show.
