Rugger has been poured. Looks good.
One of the drawbacks of bursting England's record breaking bubble is that the next Irish team up is going to have a huge target on it.
Wasps know they can win in Dublin too.

Leinster will win this because Wasps do not know how to defend

Leinster 4 points favourites with PP.
Munster -9 v's Toulouse
Saracens -13 V's Glasgow
Clermont -7 V's Toulon.
Looking at those I'd take the handicap on Leinster and Glasgow, not sure on the other two.

Hoping Wasps can actually get up for this fixture, they've been in irritatingly patchy form lately (although, granted, still picking up 5 point wins even when playing poorly)

From the main site (I know, I know):
Wasps boss Dai Young has played down any talk of a Lions selection sideshow between Danny Cipriani and Jonathan Sexton on Saturday.
Who are the journalists who ask these questions?

The English Premiership website is as bad as the Pro 12.
It's easier to find a league table on wikipedia.

Hardest game to call precisely because of Wasps patchy form. They have the firepower to win this but if they are off their game, it's a lost cause.

Best of luck. Boyne might complete their great escape which would be good for ye if ye get through as Malahide to Drogheda is a nicer trip than Malahide to Kanturk.

From irishrugbyua on the Irish thread, Leinster team is looking like:
SOB, Leavy, Conan back row
Nacewa, Byrne, Carbery back three
Strauss at 2
All others as expected
Any Wasps team news? Everyone fit?

Willie Le Roux's HIA recovery should be the only doubt
I'd guess
Mullen Taylor Moore
Launchbury Symons
Johnson Haskell Hughes
Simpson Cipriani
Le Roux Gopperth Daly Wade
Beale

Don't get me started! He's hardly been value for money...
And no, we're not going to the game. A new motor and season ticket renewals have all but cleaned us out...

How much is your season ticket as a matter of interest, Aitch. What does it include? European games as well as home ones? Discounts etc?

It's funny, the DM pushes the 750k figure when pushing his marquee status, but drop it down to 575k in most normal game reports.

2017/18 Season tix include: 11 Premiership home games, 3 European games, 2 Anglo-Welsh Cup games, all home A games, pre-season friendly at the Ricoh, England Rugby ticket ballot entry, discount at the Doubletree Hilton hotel at the Ricoh, pin badge and eco cup, 20% discount on Wasps netball tix, priority access to sporting, music & entertainment events at the Ricoh, discount rate for the End of Season Awards, and exclusive access to other Wasps events (there are a couple of other things to do with it being Wasps 150th year, this year too).
RENEWALS from £220 to £545 (adult). I dont know first time purchase prices, I'm afraid...
Must say, there isn't a bad view seat in the house and where we sit, our seats are padded!

That's not a bad deal at all........ We get a similar number of games with a few bells and whistles for Euro 490. I just heard yesterday ,from a friend, that there is now a waiting list for season tickets at the RDS.........must be doing something right.

I would imagine that they're not selling any 'new' STs as the Angelsea Stand redevelopment is due to start after the Horse Show 2018, and all existing ST holders will have to be accommodated in the three remaining stands while the works take place.

Leinster's defence is a bit patchy too although hard to get a handle on it given how little Sexton, Henshaw and Ringrose have played together (for Leinster) this season. We're not quite back to 10 years ago when we were trying to win games by scoring more points not conceding fewer but we're not far off it. Should be a very open game.

The outside backs carried the forwards in those days. It's pretty much the other way round now.
