How many hakas do you reckon they'll be forced to front-up to this tour?

There will be a haka on arrival, a haka on departure, a haka after breakfast, a haka after ordering room-service...

He's not nearly rotund enough to be considered Maori.

Does Rhys Webb not realise it's racially insensitive to black-up for such events?

They do. They're all there.

And don't forget the bedtime haka, the wake-up haka and the 3am haven't-done-a-haka-for-a-while haka.

The Lions will be privileged to experience them all ten thousand times a day.

In all seriousness who would have organised that?

Whose job is it to go "and then we'll have a haka in a corridor at Auckland airport".

Any idea why the Lions were flaying with Qantas?

And not British Airways?

Just money.

As for the arrival haka - thank fcuk some people still have manners to welcome their guests. And that the guests were well mannered enough to receive the welcome.

Good to see Warbs taking it seriously.
Gats looked a little average.
Farrell looks like he'll be 'that guy' with his hands in his pockets...

Maybe someone could have looks after Warbs' school bag for the welcome.

Great to see a number of the Lions signing for fans - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09uRwozakrg

There are probably going to be a lot of Haka that you could laugh at. I really don't think that this is one of them. I really think you (and all your friends) were just waiting for this to happen so that you could jump on this thread.

This is not the welcome that you should be pointing at in terms of anything losing its symbolism.

Did they have any stopovers along the way? I know that when I get off a long flight I just want to tell everyone and everything to fudge off so the welcome aspect of it may have been wasted on them.

Any idea why the Lions were flying with Qantas? Question

1. All their own planes are fecked at the moment because the computer is broken.

2. Their pilots don't know the way here.

3. BA planes can't fly this far.

4. They have a deal with the ARU

5. The Queen wouldn't let them use british planes

6. The Brit planes are still flat out carting home brits after brexit

7. The toilets at Heathrow were broken, so took the ferry to Paris for a link flight.

8. Qantas have superior planes.

9. Qantas were the only airline serving pies and mushy peas.
