I thought they both got a hand on that and so a knock on, but given the Blues should have had a try before it's fair enough.

Yeah, sorry.

And it was still a sh1t kick.
Like I said, we've lost all control now Sexton is on.

Luatua's been excellent.

Young Perofeta is having a bit of a 'mare - but we'll give him the try assist on SBW's try!

Lions conceded a try through defensive decisions of unfamiliar players (hask shooting up) and butchered a try through lack of familiarity in the backs also.

Very unlucky to be behind I think

Lions must be looking forward to swatting off these two piss-ant easy games so they can get stuck into a real challenge.

He has a different sponsor on it.

That was a poor half from the Blues but they have the lead. They'll probably keep their noses in front until the 70th minute and then throw it away.

SBW very good

Lions are playing well and then shooting themselves in the foot with stupid penalties. Still, that's something that can be worked on at least

Lions forward pack would be absolutely spewing about this scoreline. Singlehandedly keeping the lions in this game.

Good game. Lions playing well but fark me their backline is on is unnaturally quick. Walking to lineouts, stepping into our lineout, slowing ball, high tackles. All the things that make British rugby great.

Probably needs repeating next to the fact that this is the first time this Lions team have ever played together...which is evident in the fact that they are not a tight unit at times through phase play.

The lions forwards are taking the Blues to school. No idea how the Blues are in the lead.

Shot for getting him a job that earns him what is like a truly insane sum (billionaire owner, and no salary cap in the championship...).

I'm sure it has been said but, man, the Lions were lucky to escape without a YC for that neck roll on SBW at the start.

Quick half time analysis:

Discipline will win this game. Both sides been sloppy in conceding penalties.
Lions unlucky to be behind, slightly favourable refereeing to the Blues especially in the breakdown.
Lions are fitter and have a stronger bench so should still win.
Biggar is decent.

What was Payne doing running in front of Haskell? Fool.

Yep, Akira Ioane would do well to emulate him. Mind, he's been not too bad himself tonight, apart from his spastic hand.
