Look, not many of will know this about me as I’m not one to brag, but I happen to have a 100% genuine, Paul Daniels, forehead extender (unopened) in my garage. It's been tucked away behind various jars of nuts and bolts for close to eight years, and in all that time I've never felt there was a threat significant enough to warrant it's use. That was until I stumbled upon this thread.

So, in an effort to bring some semblance of unification and integrity to the board, I ask that you make me a moderator. But know this, if my request is not given considerable thought and simply dismissed out of hand, I will have little choice but to open my previously unopened 100% genuine, Paul Daniels, forehead extender, and call upon the unholy spirts from which it was forged to melt you all.

Duterte is a socialst.
He is lowering taxes on the poor, raising it on the rich, cracking down on high level corruption, making peace with seperstist groups and is reducing the influence of religion on society.

There is no balance in the mods, i m here since 2003 (if i remember well), and i've never been banned !

A shame, we on this forum should all have the same chances to be banned !

The modding has never been balanced, never will be balanced.

The modes are either

Nonexistent
Idiotic
knee jerk
Reactionary abuse of power
Final breaking point ban, reversal, debate, controversy, Reban, debate, lawyers, perm ban and eventually return of banned party via 'alternate' login whereby nonexistent takes over again.
:D

I'll be away for this week, very busy at work.

out of the banter, our forum might well be the only one like this on the internet... very free, very much, but not savage nor mental.
really good spirit and the mods being good wit kant, they act fair enough i think.

been to other forums... phewwwwwww... mods and people of the internet.

I'm pretty sure I've only been banned twice here in nearly 20 years of posting. Once by sefton when he had his meltdown and once for posting a picture of a penis. While I choose to walk a fine line for my own ammusment, I can say that the mods must actually consider what is actually said in it's context with nuance. They seem to take the time to distinguish what was actually said because, I deliberately blur the lines on some antagonistic topics.

I'm fairly certain (as I have access to the logs of these things) that you've had one login perma banned after attempting to register a multi, posing as a woman I might add (Hi Jessica) whilst on a ban and have also had your current login banned as well. So that's at least 5 since the last bored wipe, I'm going to be calling bullshit.

How do you make that 5? I'm not accepting a multi while banned as a double ban. I make it 3 (one of which I've apparently forgotten about).

Jake, one of your mods has just released my personal information. My name is Jessica, how do I make a formal complaint? Do I have to do it through the main site? Where is the sites privacy policy in case I want to take things further?

You've set out clear forum rules on personal information, which are on top of your company's own rules which forbid what he did. I demand you deal with this in a consistant manner to your promises. This person should not be in a position of trust any longer. Volunteer or not, this person should be trained to deal with these things in line with the data protection act. If anybody puts two and two together and comes up with my identity and anything comes of that, I will be holding PR responsible.

Ok, that's good, he deserves it. Can I suggest a 'currently suspended' list as a stickied thread? I know it's more effort but it would help inform posters and diffuse tension.

Also, in this era of reconciliation around the new legitimacy of Jeremy Corbyn, I don't mind outing my past logins; Muttonbird, Hairyweapon, Eaglescrum, and Don, and maybe one other short-lived one which I've forgotten.
