Houtkabouter: Collision Point

Could I get the Collision Point forum ownership details off you in order to revive that great chat site? You seem to not be interested in continuing with it but I'm interested. I think it was a great place for some very funny rugby people to have a chat.

Even if you continued with the ownership of the model but I funded it. Would that be an option?

See this would have been a great post on CP but here it just looks mean.

CP had some fantastic moments which have been locked away by Houtkabouter which is also a bit mean, imo.

One poster created another forum which was a fake news site based in Kinshasa and invited people to write news articles for it. I really miss Vichyssoise and Keith who once swapped identities for quite some time.

There was the sand box, and seagulls. So many user driven concepts which is what made it fun.

Seems a shame to have lost what was quite a significant number of posts and a significant amount of input from rugby people all over the world.

Hosts: did PR make you shut it down?

No. It wasn't. It was a useful place to flee if we had a meltdown on here but the day to day posts were clique based.

Hell, he could have more than one

You were quite welcome but you chose to harrass our one female member off the board and got some shit for that. Not our fault you packed a sad about it.

Big whoops, mate. All my identities are out there. The point is that the forum Collision Point was a great place for some people who were considered outsiders on Planet Rugby.

Also, these outsiders moderated their behaviour somewhat and formed a community which people like Globus call cliquey but in reality was a gathering of very different people into one outlet.

It really was fun and I wish it was available again and I've offered to pay for it and all.

She was an asset but not because she was a woman but she was a person who loved rugby. Globus tried to 'help' her off the board and she declined and oh did he spit the dummy about that.

Who are your identities then if they are out there? Missed that. Sorry don't want to be defaming you in the wrong.
It's not a big deal, although I did save this 2012 version of the forum from spam. It's probably my greatest achievement online.

Total lies and bollocks. You have a pathetic agenda and most of us long termers know about it.

Good theory.

Except for the fact that you spent 90% of your time in the solitary cell, iirc

Thai, Keith, Sards, Vichy, Razor, Viktor etc all ...ah top posters. A real community.

Some fun was had!

The seagulls didn't like it. They didn't like how much of a success we made of the place.

Post the thread. Don't rely on vague memories. I am very happily married, thank you, and do not make advances, especially on the net.

And I'm not a Tory nor a nut job.

No. You are not following the point. I have received a lying post from Thai guy.

You've made your choice to believe it. I utterly repudiate it.

You have form for having a go at me before. If you notice, I do not go after posters unless they have a go at me.

Have a cold beer and chill. It's a nice day here and I'm off to photograph a wedding.

It was. I went on there when the PR site went down. It never attracted posters from here in any number.

The structure and format was decent. I'm wondering if to create a simple nuclear fall-out bunker should the hamster die.

It would be sad to lose contact with posters whom I've been in touch with for years.
