Yep. Perhaps eclipsing the Baa-baas given the quality of the oppo and the sport now being about 50 times faster.

I blame Cruds and Dunny $ Bill - should have been stopped inside the 22.

But well taken once he got thru Cruden - lovely to watch

I liked Daly's in and out, he took ALB out of the chasing group and doesn't really get credit for it, it made that try. Davies' decision to ass to Daly early and back up was class too.

Ben Te'o's block on the other hand.... x(

It was a good TRY but the Lions only beat three players. We've all seen way better

Agree with those points, but also ha e to give credit to Liam for slowing up and waiting for support rather than just trying to go himself.

Ah everyone did the right thing, all the right options were taken and that's why the try was scored. I just mentioned Daly because his part was subtle but what he did was quite important. Williams got credit already I'm sure. ;)

Oh I agree. I only mention that particular part of his break because it's where we've been struggling to finish these chances - linking with support.

Said it on the match thread, that's close to the greatest international try ever, put it in context and it beats the BaaBaa's try hands down.

Te'o stood still. Entitled to do so.

It's a good try, great considering the quality of the opposition and the context, but never an "all time" type. I did enjoy Read's reaction to getting stepped, and Daly doing ALB.

After the Lions win this series it will over time come to be accepted as the greatest try ever scored with people 50 years from now asking each other - 'did you know that was scored in the first test, which they actually lost?' 'really? I did not know that!!!'

When Faldo lapped Maradona for six, especially given the quality of the opposition.

He stopped and turned awaiting Williams to pass. He may well have had awareness of the AB defender and if so it's just a right place, right time lucky bit of play. Nothing illegal in it for me. Were the AB not covering in behind I doubt Te'o would have moved any differently. No contact and he should have been able to offer more support towards our tryline.
