No, but that is clearly not what happened.
He jumped for a pass, no?

So can you do high passes allowing the receiver to jump past the defensive line?

Sonny Bill aside that was a hell of a gutsy performance from the ABs. Lions got their reward in the end.

YES!!!!!

Just managed it. New Zealand are a fücking monster team, down to 14 and still could have won it. That's a huge win for the Lions, makes next week so much more interesting.

Hard to see Lions winning next week. NZ only had 14 men and didn't have a kicker. It shouldn't have been as close as it was.

Eh that was a tense game.

Poor on quality, great on tension.

All blacks ability to whinge on the pitch is astounding. Bring on next week !

No he was in the air when he caught the ball. Big difference.
Really surprised by the lack of understanding of the laws by Kiwi posters.
Most of them learnt the game on PlayStation ffs. A nation of dribblers

Wow, made hard work of that. A man advantage for an hour, and won by 3 points. But 2 tries against none.

The All Blacks are going to walk all over the Lions next week.

You can blame the ref as much as you like, but that Brain Explosion from SBW killed us. Congrats to the Lions. They played with so much heart and more brains than we did.

Are you f**king blind? He jumped to catch the ball
That's not a penalty's arsehole.
Is it not....

A player tackles another whilst he's in the air isn't a penalty

3 point win, 65 minutes against a 14 mean team. I'd be in tears if I was a rugby fan...

Absolutely stoked with the All Blacks attitude and effort with a man down, heroic. I have nothing bad to say about them apart from that last kick wide.

Enjoy the victory fellas! We're going to a decider!!!! Gonna be fireworks next week!
Well said.

Lions better pray for another French ref next week to keep them in contention, or make sure the Ref can't her the TMO again, or they will get pounded.

Win by 3 against 14, and Barret missed a few.

Very Lucky tonight.

Entertaining game for a neutral

Conditions levelled it well, we say as they improved the lions had no trouble taking advantage of the numbers, next week will be a cracker

Let's not over egg it - we won by 3 against 14 men. And they'd have won had they kicked better. It wasn't a great performance.
